G-Man and Fat commenting how maybe they should interview Omri with his inspired play. Fat comments that they will likely be interviewing him a lot during the season:D

Well, lots to work on and already seeing some hopeful signs. I love these Rookies. And the best part of the night...

KINGS basketball has begun, baby!

To steal VF21's famous line...

I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!

Yep! ... and TDOS is officially declared over! GO KINGS!!

Very promising start to the year for the rookies, and we actually won the rebounding battle.

Now to build on this tomorrow night. You would image we should shoot better at home.

Well we play the lakers so that is one that could be on LP? or not :/

Although it irks me that neither side supposedly was broadcasting the game yet it has highlights with announcers.

I was at the game tonight....I have to say I am impressed with the way the Kings played. The officiating was terrible both ways. 71 FT's shot combined. Oden really could do anything he wanted down on the block, however, he showed a much more complex offensive game. Hawes struggled guarding him and May was guarding him at times and that was ugly. The Kings played hard. They dove on the floor. Got in the passing lanes at times. Harassed the Blazers on D. Held their own rebounding. It was fun to watch them play. Omri looked good in his minutes. One Blazer fan behind me when Omri came in goes " who?" then few minutes later goes " he looks pretty good." I mean it still may be a really long year but I am going to enjoy watching this team play.....

Hall of Famer
13 assists - 14 turnovers

And so it begins..........
14 turnovers isn't that terrible. It could be better, but 10 to 12 turnovers a game are acceptable. Its the assists that need to improve.. I get your implication and its starting to become tiresome. I'm starting to think that your being right about Evans is more important to you than the team and Evans being sucessful. I hope Im wrong about that.

This was just one game of many to come, and an exhibition game at that. I can't really make judgements without seeing the game, so I won't. But it appears, on paper at least, that several Kings had bad shooting nights. Martin and Nocioni both spring to mind. You can't get assists if the ball doesn't go in the basket. So it becomes a sort of chicken and egg thing.

A note to the folks at KHTK. Your a sacramento station!!! Not a San Jose station. So unless you had some kind of legal commitment to broadcast the Sharks game on internet broadband, then the morron that decided to do so should be fired. There are Kings fans all over the United States and the world that listen to that feed. And last night it was our only connection to the game. Way to go KHTK, and thanks for nothing.....

I didn't think they could broadcast the kings games over the internet. Last year they would do replays of other shows during kings games.

The problem is nobody special played more than half the game, and they were out of sync and missing shots that would have been assists. So VF21, I told you that I would let it go, but 2 days later as soon as the games start, it has reared it's ugly head.

it was the first game vs live opponent competition... I wouldn't put much into it. If this becomes a trend towards the end of the preseason I would start to worry, but too soon now, I agree with you.
