The game is on KHTK...but only their radio transmission. The online stream is the sharks game.
Hmm, it just occurred to me I must have an actual radio in my house somewhere. Technology makes you spoiled. Listening to it on KHTK now.

ETA: OptimusRhyme - Portland tonight, Arco tomorrow.

Everyone has played except Omri Casspi. I think coach is just trying to see what everyone can bring to the table. The second/third unit has played all the of the second half.

remember this is preseason, it's used to evaluate your players against other competition and to work out the kinks.

Sergio is really impressing me so far in this game...or at least thats what it SOUNDS like, since it costs the NBA too much money to give me any VISUALS

Well, at least we're saved from watching Noc missing everything. It's slightly less painful watching the boxscore.

The Blazers % from 3 is prettier than ours.

Nothing incredible of note so far? I wonder if they're playing tougher, better defense. I can't listen, no AM radio in the house.

Wow, thanks for opening my eyes. I completely agree with your statement. I don't wanna see that crap either.

I mean, if he's just missing everything today it's ok with me, but my question is: why the heck is shooting so much? This fool took more shots than Evans and Martin COMBINED.

Im guessing this is about as good a start as you can expect ( I would know for sure If I could actually watch the game ! ) ..

Looks like the PG battle has lit a fire under all these guys .. Evans, Beno, and Sergio all have good stats through 2.

Good to see Reke with only 1 TO.

As far as May starting, Hawes has played double the minutes, so that is a semi good sign. As a matter of fact, Brockman has a few minutes more than May too .. good to see.

well I do have to say, that that might be the most unilluminative halftime boxscore I ahve ever seen. Nobody did anything of statistical note, unless it be Noc with his 1-8, and he;s been around far too long for that to mean anything.

well, assuming the yahoo boxscore is right, kings have 6 asst.
Probably, Bricklayer. The NBA.com boxscore is the same one as the yahoo one, and it says 6.

oh, and also, Bricklayer - realistically, what were we even expecting seeing from a first game? While better FG% would be awesome, just being close to the opponent and not getting painfully beaten (yes, I do know there's another half) is a good start. Or some sort of a start.

I hope to see Omri getting some minutes in the second half.. he's pretty much the only one who didn't play yet and he can't do more damage than Noc already did, so.

JT looking good, couple dunks. - 6 points
Portland shooting 39% Kings 36%
Kings leading rebs
Kenny actually helped some.
Beno looking good too.
Brockman hit 2 for 2. = 4pts 3rebs
Donte not much of anything.

Sam Amick reporting that the Kings have 13 assists in the first half. Not sure where you are getting 4 from.

The boxscore says 6 assts. Amick is wrong!

Edit: Man, am I slow. Several people responded before I did. :p

from the play by play, seems like May is taking too many outside jumpers again .. I saw this from him during that scrimage video too. He is an OK shooter, but seeing "May misses 23 foot jumper" on the play by play makes me upset and I cant even see it!
