The 1 2 punch he and IT bring in?Somebody show me a good argument for why McLemore should not be starting
I'd rather not fight from 10+ points down every night if this preseason is any indication of how the regular season will go so long as Vasquez is starting at PG.
Giving up on players before they have a chance to settle into their roles is half the reason that the Kings have been in the position they've been in the past five years.
i think the only one that anybody can come up with is that they don't want to "rush it and ruin his development"Somebody show me a good argument for why McLemore should not be starting
Problem is Vasquez is playing poorly has this whole preseason
What?
And? This team is not in "win now" mode. Vasquez getting acclimated to playing with the starters is more important to the success of this team in the long run.
yep. CP3 hasnt played in this quarter yetRemember folks. These Clipper starters just got done making us look like freshman high schoolers 1 quarter ago
The defensive rotation is amazing

I don't think that's quite fair. It's not just GV. Our starting lineup tonight was ... well ... ineffective to say the least.
"Earning your minutes" is important, I suppose. IMO, it takes a back seat to establishing a consistent rotation, and giving your players the confidence to play their way out of a slump. If you train a player to think that he's going to get the hook if he doesn't start the game playing like an All-Star, he's going to be gun shy.Nobody is saying to give up on Vasquez. But I'd sure like to see him earn his minutes, and thus far he has not.
Thornton bears a resemblance to MLK. It's not the first time I've seen the comment.
