[Game] Kings @ Clippers - 10/25/13

I don't care who starts. I care about who is on the court with whom. And I do not want to see Thornton and Salmons out there at the same time EVER AGAIN.

Nice little in and out dribble by Ben off the dribble to draw the 4th foul on Jordan. We would never have see that in Summer League, the rook showing clear improvement.

So basically IT brings us back in it again.

IT is THE spark off the bench - he doesn't need to start and shouldn't.

PurpleHaze got it in one. Thomas is perfectly suited for the role he's in. The problem is when people want him to have a different/bigger role, based on what he's doing in his current role. It's like some people are allergic to having a change-of-pace guard come off the bench: "IT IS PLAYING SO WELL, HE MUST START~!"

No, he must not.

I am waiting for Vasquez to have THAT GAME he has not. IT looks sharpe. So far best lineup looks like IT/McLemore/outlaw/JT/Cuz with Ppat and salmons first off bench

IT, Thornton, Mclemore, Patterson, Cousins would be an interesting lineup to try at some point, tons of floor spacing and scoring thats for sure.

I'd keep IT on the bench. He's playing well off the bench. GV was fine.....if his unit was able to shoot, then there would be no complaints but Salmons, MT and PP were not very good.

Malone has given MT plenty of time to show him something, but its just not happening. i just really don't see how you don't go with McLemore at this point. the other options are just blehhhhh

Mentioned this last game. We have to consider starting IT-McLemore. Their energy and extremely aggressive nature puts defenses on edge. And while they might struggle defensively, at least we won't have to worry about them not trying. We're on game 3 of Vasqeuz-Thornton starting putting us into a double digit hole and IT-McLemore bringing us back

No, he must not.
Problem is Vasquez is playing poorly has this whole preseason

Well, it's not just about IT though.

Vasquez (at least what he's shown to this point) is not even close to being suited for the current role he is in, so what then? I rather tinker around with the bench until I find a mix that works then continue to have the starting unit dig this team into a ditch at the start of every game.

If Vasquez plays better, than this is all meaningless, but I'm concerned right now.

Giving up on players before they have a chance to settle into their roles is half the reason that the Kings have been in the position they've been in the past five years.

Can anyone seriously with a straight face tell me Thornton should start over Ben Mac? Outalw's lenght making a difference

I honestly think outlaw should start. And this is the role for IT.

Mclemores shot is so sweet.

This looks like the rotation. Jimmer ain't in it.
