I don't trust anyone who likes Vasquez and IT together. Why would we do that, ever? Only one guy can handle the ball at any given time, and M16 / Jimmer / Thornton are all better off the ball. Not to mention those two together are terrible defensively. There's just no reason to do it.

Have Kings played any zone so far in pre-season? If not we need to practice it because it's hard to see some of these combinations working man-to-man with all the fouls. Maybe Malone feels we have no rim protection is why no zone.

When Thornton and Vasquez are playing like they have played in the past, that pair SHOULD work. I don't see why it wouldn't. GV is the passer, Thornton is the scorer / shooter. Unfortunely both players look terrible right now no matter who they are with.

Honestly, I've yet to see Vasquez do anything that impressed me. At least IT can score. Neither can play defense, so pick your poison.
