Nobody is saying to give up on Vasquez. But I'd sure like to see him earn his minutes, and thus far he has not.
i like him over Thornton if just for the fact Vazquez, if he starts, will actually pass to him. Put the two gunners, IT and Thornton together off the bench. But I really think the plan is to ease mclemore into the league and not put pressure on him at first. I think they start Thornton. For now.i think the only one that anybody can come up with is that they don't want to "rush it and ruin his development"
Ben McLemore is going to be a star in the NBA and Kings only have one on their roster right now - if he can stay on the court long enough to actually qualify as such.
If you look on the kings Instagram. I'm right there in the middle with my kings tyreke jersey. I feel like I finally made it![]()
Really? The same exact message 7 times now? This is the thread for the game tonight. If you could stop spamming that would be great.
I don't really care about what this season could mean for the respective careers of Grevis Vasquez and Isaiah Thomas. Here's what I care about: the Kings have hitched their wagon to DeMarcus Cousins. When Grevis Vasquez is on the court, he's looking for DeMarcus Cousins. When Isaiah Thomas is on the court, he's looking for Isaiah Thomas.I don't know. This is a make or break year for GV and IT. Both free agents next offseason, and I doubt we keep both of them. This season is immensely important for both guys long term.
Really? And yet oddly enough, most people seem to think that big kid has a shot at stardom...
Hmmm, was I clear? I mean we have one star (Big Cuz) as long as he stays on the court long enough to rack up big time stats, domination, leadership, etc. - with another budding one (M-16).
