[Game] Kings @ Clippers - 10/25/13

Nobody is saying to give up on Vasquez. But I'd sure like to see him earn his minutes, and thus far he has not.
i think the only one that anybody can come up with is that they don't want to "rush it and ruin his development"
i like him over Thornton if just for the fact Vazquez, if he starts, will actually pass to him. Put the two gunners, IT and Thornton together off the bench. But I really think the plan is to ease mclemore into the league and not put pressure on him at first. I think they start Thornton. For now.

Ben McLemore is going to be a star in the NBA and Kings only have one on their roster right now - if he can stay on the court long enough to actually qualify as such.

Really? And yet oddly enough, most people seem to think that big kid has a shot at stardom...

Marcus jumping with nowhere to go on one possession then a brick the next. Why all of sudden he becomes the black hole that he is. Not surprising clips make a run during that same span

If you look on the kings Instagram. I'm right there in the middle with my kings tyreke jersey. I feel like I finally made it :)

Really? The same exact message 7 times now? This is the thread for the game tonight. If you could stop spamming that would be great.

Im still fairly encouraged. It's taking a top 3 player being absolutely on fire, while being heavily defended, to keep the Clippers in this game

I don't know. This is a make or break year for GV and IT. Both free agents next offseason, and I doubt we keep both of them. This season is immensely important for both guys long term.
I don't really care about what this season could mean for the respective careers of Grevis Vasquez and Isaiah Thomas. Here's what I care about: the Kings have hitched their wagon to DeMarcus Cousins. When Grevis Vasquez is on the court, he's looking for DeMarcus Cousins. When Isaiah Thomas is on the court, he's looking for Isaiah Thomas.

Vasquez should start.

Hmmm, was I clear? I mean we have one star (Big Cuz) as long as he stays on the court long enough to rack up big time stats, domination, leadership, etc. - with another budding one (M-16).

Wow, terribly sorry for the spamming. My phone must be not working properly. Hope you all are having as much as fun as I am. Not too often I get to see these guys :)

IT has this odd defensive behavior. He gets way, way up against top tier point guards (Curry, Paul, Irving, etc.) and then totally stops playing D against bench guys and lesser lights.

I love how willing the ball movement is this year, well at least until Thornton gets it lol, we might not be the most talented teams in the league, but if we play a team game we can scare some teams this year.

Read your post three times and misread it all three times. :)

And now IT stops a 2-on-1! If he can continue to play D like he has today, I'll be impressed (and happy!)

First bad decison by IT had to go to the bigger better athlete there, but it's fine the effort and exacution by him so far has been unreal.

Thornton looks horribly winded. He stayed bent over, sucking wind, the whole time Reddick was at the line...
