Wow, Cousins completely not involved with the offense so far.... Corner 3s notwithstanding.
Nobody is picking on him because of that. In fact, nobody has mentioned anything at all about his private life - as THAT is what's normally out of bounds.
I think it's in poor taste to insinuate athletes are idiots anyway. But when you're talking about a guy that's dealt with more adversity in his 23 year old life than most, it's in exceptionally poor taste. Not to mention, it has nothing to do with whether or not he's a good NBA player or a free agent we might want to consider signing which is what I was talking about.
...what about "Tutti Frutti" makes it "aw rooty?"
The Wop Bob a Loo-Bob, of course....what about "Tutti Frutti" makes it "aw rooty?"
No comment on the second sentence, but the kid having a hard life, and stepping up in times of tragedy doesn't get him placed on a "do not ridicule" list. It's terrible what happened to Thomas Robinson in his personal life. It is admirable and commendable how he stepped up to take care of his sister. But, guess what? That earns you no free passes on the basketball court. If you play like you have low/no basketball IQ, it's open season on you, just like it would be on anyone else.
Damn it all! If I were half the "abuse of power" mod that I get accused of being sometimes, I would hit both you and Tetsujin up with infractions, just for making me talk about Thomas Robinson again.
How did I know you were going to hide behind basketball IQ on this one? Is it true that Robinson is playing well since he went to Philadelphia? Yes. He's got a PER of 22.2 since he started playing for Philadelphia which is higher than Tim Duncan's on the season so I think that's a pretty fair point to make in a game thread against Philadelphia.
Sometimes stats don't tell the story. This is such a case.
76ers dead last in scoring in the association at 91ppg. 31 pts scored Q1 on Kings laughable D.

Philly on PACE for 124 pts.
Thats fine. Cause PACE.
The dead horse? Yeah, its getting beaten pretty bad around these parts....Because PACE.
Sure, we COULD still win this game against Philly. But I'm irked that I'm using words like COULD in sentences that also contain the words WIN and PHILLY.
Because....PACE.
This is not about pace right now. It's about defense.
