Karl last coached May 2, 2013 and he took over here on Feb 11, 2015. Consdering that there are no NBA games between June and October anyway, that's a year and a half. Or more correctly, a season and a half. In any case, the game did not evolve and pass him by in that amount of time. I suppose you could say that it evolved at some earlier point and he failed to adjust, but then how do you explain the coach of the year award in 2013?
