Would you trade #5 for Ibaka?

Would you offer #5 for Ibaka?

OKC is still a small market team and most likely Ibaka and Harden would demand payrise that could really make Thunder to keep only 1. As for this draft Drummond (aside of Davis) is likely the best option to replace Ibaka with a really good to chance to be better running together with Durant et. al.

Would you accept this trade or not?

how about the #12 and an expiring Garcia and whiteside for Ibaka. yeah Im all in the three team deals Brick.

Lowry, Thomas
Evans, Throton, Jimmer
Salmons, Outlaw, Harkless
Cousins, JT
Ibaka, JT

hmmm need a 4th big 2nd round draft pick or Garnett lol

You could ask the same question but insert James Harden's name and you'll get the same "Yes!" answer that your getting with Ibaka. However, neither scenario is remotely a realistic possibility. The Thunder are not going to move either player for an unproven draft pick not named Anthony Davis.

Actually...word coming down today is thye ar interested in Beal, and there has been a longstanding rumor of Charlotte possibly trading them the #2 for Harden, so...

While I don't at all doubt that you've read or heard that somewhere, I'm still highly, highly skeptical. I won't believe it til I see it. Until that day comes, I stand by what I said. I just can't see a team that was just in the NBA Finals trading one of their integral pieces for anything other than an established player in return. Anthony Davis would be the lone exception, but we all know the Hornets aren't trading him for either of those players.

Having said all that, I've been surpirsed and shocked before....

I say No if MKG available at number 5.

We have two holes, SF and PF. If we pick MKG and resign T-Will we have

Reke/IT
MT/T-Will/
MKG/T-Will
JT
Cuz

That is 7 out of the tradition 8 men rotation locked up and we have a 8-10 years windows to win the ship. Now all you have to do is bet on Whiteside to develop to be our Ibaka, that is your 8 men right there.

Ibaka at PF would be perfect.

Ibaka = no MKG

I rather bet on Whiteside to be our Ibaka then Honeycutt become our MKG.

MKG was a college kid who averaged 12ppg last year.

Ibaka led the NBA in blocked shots as the starting PF for the Western Conference champs. So yes, you are right, Ibaka is no MKG.

i still like whiteside alot. it's frustrating watching our coach small ball it.

i'd do the #5 for ibaka without blinking. he's a established player that knows how to play.
