Padrino said:i think this is possibly the best thing that has happened to this lakers team all season. they are finally gonna get a chance to see what theyre made of. w/o kobe, theyve got a lot to prove. w/o kobe, i suspect they will learn a lot about TEAM basketball. they will learn how to play together and feed off each other for the first time. if its a long stretch w/o bean, then they may run outta gas and slide a bit. it will be interesting to see how the lakers respond. if they can somehow keep in the playoff race for one of the bottom seeds, then i imagine, if kobe makes a smooth transition back into the team, they will play well. but, this is all just mindless conjecture. kobe may be out for 2 weeks, he may be out for 8. the team may respond well, and they may not. who knows? i dont even think they do....
