[Game] Kings @ Bulls 14 Feb 2000 EST

After the dissapointment against the Suns, lets see how this team bounces back. Rose is missing this game because of his back, so a win isn't completely out of the question. Obviously its clear when Tyreke plays good, it opens up everything for the other guys, Tyreke has to get it through his head that he is the engine of this team. The Bulls are a great defensive team and just lost to the Celtics, so they are going to be hungry for this one with or without Rose. Cousins could struggle in this one against Noah and Hasik, hopefully he doesn't get frustrated if he gets some shots blocked. Hayes and Thompson could be crucial in this one slowing down boozer. As well as Salmons and Greene on Deng. I think we have a chance tonight, but after the performance against the Suns, you just don't know what Kings team is going to show up.

Did I read it right that there will be no D. Rose for the Bulls AND no Loul Deng?
Uh oh.

For most teams that's great. For us, we seem to play incrementally worse for each opposing teams starter which is missing. I'd expect our youngsters to get up for Rose, but without him I don't know. Could lay an egg.

But that's what vets are for, right? Good thing we have Cisco and Chuck. Now I'm at ease.

No Rose means trouble for the Kings. That shouldn't be the case, but unfortunately for us that is. A scrub like CJ Watson or Kyle Korver will now go off on us because they have to shoot more and they will. Boozer is really the only guy that worries me on that team besides Luol Deng but if he's not playing either well then....let's just hope the right Kings team shows up today, because you just never know which one is going to show up and play hard and compete or fall on their face.

Once again, our big 3 are all on the bench at the same time for extended minutes while the deficit grows.

I've had enough of hayes.

Every 2nd quarter we're playing against our coach. By halftime of every game we have to battle uphill, because our coach can't substitute.

Hayes sucks on offense, its truly painful to watch. Please please someone get a bench for us. Half of Chicago's bench is on the court and we are on the verge of getting blown out.
