[Game] Kings @ Bulls, 2/16/2022 5pm Pacific 8pm Eastern

Annoying outcome, but a lot better than the Nets game. Some home-cooking from the refs and missing your best defender against DDR and an offense that's just cooking everybody isn't ideal. Gentry also not adjusting with his "double" scheme was a big problem too.

The playoffs are going to be Bonkers. Chicago has won 5 in a row and have the best player in the game suddenly, Bucks are finding their groove, Nets are going to be nuts, Philly, GS if the splash brothers are firing on all cylinders. Suns are a well oiled machine. Going to be fun to watch.

Man, the guys are still scrapping though. No chance of winning this one barring something truly incredibly happening but they forced an eight second violation and made Billy D burn his last timeout.

Just checked in on the game. Damn! I really thought we could win this one but we are getting better. Hopefully they can practice together after the all star break

What happened with Barnes in the last 10 minutes or so? It doesn't appeared he scored in that time frame. Was he playing?

Very disappointing game. Assists were way down. Holmes was a nonentity. Why hasn't Jones gotten off the bench? You don't have Halliburton feeding Holmes lobs and he becomes worthless out there. Metu - why was he even in the game the middle of the 4th taking a long 3 pointer that of course missed? (It reminded me of the "old" crappy Kings team where he and Bagley would be the 3 point options for the opposing team). Gentry hasn't impressed at all. This game does not bode well for him being the Kings' coach next season.

Alright, looks like the sulking period, the nitpicking phrase has begun among us, I'll bid y'all adieu.

I'd rather appreciate the fact that 3 weeks ago we wouldn't even care to watch this game because it won't even be close. Have a good night, yall!

I think Gentry sent a bit of a message to Holmes by firmly planting him in the 2nd. They need Holmes now to be the old energetic role player he always was. If he can't regain that form this is going to head south in a hurry.

The warts are starting to show and time is short. Nitpicking is a good sign, haha.

This has pretty much been a season long thing, but maybe the all star break will give Holmes a chance to sort out off the court stuff and prepare mentally for his new role on the team.

Hopefully we're playing our way out of dropping that (i) tag. Excited to see a fresh slate next season. Just hope we can find the perfect 3/4 to pair with Barnes and the rest should sort itself out.

I wish Gentry would have him head south after the last game. I'm seeing absolutely nothing from him. Did I miss something or was Jones playing well prior to the big trade? I just don't get it and I doubt Jones does either.
