[Game] Kings @ Bulls 14 Feb 2000 EST

Right now Reke, Thornton, IT, and even Salmons are better overall players than Jimmer. Not many more minutes are available.
Even if Jimmer was healthy, I don't know where'd we play him tonight. We lost on defense, where he doesn't help. it's not like we scored 75pts and clearly could have used his shooting. Plus, to add to what you said, Reke/Thornton/IT all played a hell of a 2nd half. No time for Jimmer in there.

Korver was left open all the time when Salmons and Garcia were out there...If we had a good game from our starting SF, we win this one. I say we look to move Salmons and Hickson because quite frankly...they stink.

Hickson goes away in the offseason when his contract expires. Salmons you have to pay for him to not play. We aren't going to be able to trade him unless we can lobotomize another GM. Is Isaiah Thomas still running things in Detroit?

Lost a two-possession game, when two of the first eight in our rotation combined to go 3-12. Sucks, but I can live with it. If we get anything, at all, out of Salmons, we probably win this game.

I know, easier said than done, right?

if he weren't sick, we could have put him in a couple minutes to replace salmons. while he was going 0 for 8 and letting deng dominate. i would have let him chase korver around and have tyreke on deng since he was doing ok on him towards the end of the game. but jimmer was sick so it's all moot. i personally think greene should have come in A LOT sooner in the second half. he was playing very well towards the end of the half and is rewarded with riding the pine all of the third quarter while salmons get to make all kings fans bang their heads in frustration

If the refs don't remove Cuz from the game on a stupid call in the 3rd, we probably win this game

The frustrating part of that to me was that Salmons had put three solid games together just a four games ago, and I hoped he had turned a corner. He has once again reverted to a useless ballhog who plays middling defense.

Would prefer Donte in in that situation rather than Salmons.

Still chance we amnesty Salmons though. Sure am crossing my fingers.

And people wonder why we call for Donte. At least Donte has some potential to improve and be a rotational player down the line. Salmons is just plain worthless
