You say that like it's a bad thing. If we could turn this year's draft pick + Brad into Dwight Howard, Chris Paul or Lebron James (take your pick), you'd be let down?!?
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, take your pick huh.
I never tire of how funny it is that anyone thinks any of those players will end up in a Kings uni. Especially for a rookie and Miller.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Thabeet everyday of the week and twice on Sundays and not to trade. I also have heard that Rubio will not be entering the draft.
I would go after Jeff Green with Salmons, personally.
Griffin+Salmons for Thabeet+Green
Hopefully having traded Miller and cutting Moore, generating enough capspace to sign Ramon Sessions
Sessions/Udrih
Martin/Garcia
Green/Garcia
Thompson/Hawes
Thabeet/Hawes
That lineup works for me.

What this game shows though is that Thabeet has very poor core strength and that isn't something that he's going to be able to overcome easily because of his body structure. He's quick, long and explosive but he doesn't have the lateral quickness, the coordination, the IQ, or the strength to become a complete defender or that good of a rebounder. I'm going to keep watching him, but I'm not hopeful that he can become anything more than Dalembert.
Blair would have muscled most NBA big men right out of the arena too tonight. He's immensely strong at any level, and came out determined to prove it tonight.
I don't have a dog in the Thabeet fight. However, this game wasn't the first time we have seen him struggle against a first round talent, nor has he just had problems against "short power players". (Greg Monroe?) .
I have been impressed the last few times I have seen him, but that shouldn't white-wash over what happened tonight (or vice-versa). Perhaps others couldn't have handled Blair but the 5 points four rebounds three turnovers and foulling out performance of Thabeet could have been exceeded by any number of college basketball players.
Thabeet has poor core strength this has always been a problem for him, this isn't anything new. I don't believe he's going to improve on it much either because of the way his body is structured, it's like he's walking on stilts. You can talk up Blair all you like, but this is a huge weakness for Thabeet.
One bad game against an undersized big isn't gonna change my vote yet.
