I feel pretty confident he's one of the closer "inside scoop" guys the Kings have in their local media. Usually whenever he "leaks" something like this, there's smoke.

Eh, I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a done deal. But it's being talked about, which is kind of crazy to do as a deadline deal. Thought for certain any Fox stuff would be in the off-season.

Not Fox but another player, right? Maybe Huerter since he sat out. Weird - he says Fox isn't asking for a trade, nor are the Kings actively seeking a Fox trade currently so idk.
He didn’t specify. He’s implying things but not going into specifics at all.
Now sounds like he’s saying either Wes Wilcox or Vivek is the problem not sure which. And that we all look at Monte but we need to be looking at Wes Wilcox more.

I don’t know if I quite interpreted it that way. My reading was that the players and agents were told a deal would be done soon (a non Fox deal). Then some team called the kings about Fox and Wes relayed that info to Klutch. The deal must have been significant enough that they decided to get feedback from Klutch. That could obviously put a hold on any other deal they had lined up. I haven’t caught up to live yet on the show so maybe more has been said

If Fox is traded, I'm not watching the rest of the season. Fox did right by us. He's our guy. I want to win with him. A complete failure to find even one player better than Lyles to play back up forward or center for this long is inexcusable. Trading Fox to make it happen disgusts me. And if the team doesn't get a very good guard back, which eats into the whole return, our backcourt will be as bad as our frontcourt is now.

if he is traded I personally think it will be because he asked for it. We are 11-4 over our last 15 games, why would the Spurs all of a sudden come in with a big offer? Why are they in a hurry, why not wait until the offseason? I dunno

If he asked out, then the front office better not give any location requests a moment of consideration. Only the best offers regardless of team should be considered. The entitlement culture and chip or nothing mind set in the NBA is pathetic. This goes for fans and media too, who respect accolades and paperwork instead of what players actually do on the floor.
