With LaVine here now, an interesting target for us would be Jrue Holiday (as BOS would likely be open to moving him due to the massive tax bill coming their way).

Looking at salaries, it looks like we could potentially send out both DeRozan and Monk, and take in Jrue Holiday and Cam Johnson. If we resign LaRavia and Lyles, that gives us the following rotation going into next season…
PG - Holiday / Carter
SG - LaVine / Ellis
SF - Johnson / LaRavia
PF - Murray / Lyles
C - Sabonis / Valanciunas
Although that team doesn’t have a superstar talent, it does seem like an incredibly well balanced team that could compete on both ends of the floor.

- He’s an excellent defender who can take the more difficult matchup at PG or SG (letting LaVine take the lesser offensive player)
- He can space the floor for LaVine and Sabonis when they are in the paint
- He can be another go-to scoring option to help shoulder the load
- He gives us a “real” PG who can run the offense
