First, no I am not aware that there is a Personell Moves forum (I am new)
Second, the question is not who is better or who would you rather keep, it's who would you rather trade.
Third, I am not stupid. I understand that the three names mentioned above are probably the 3 players on our roster that will give us something in return (i.e. a legit player or a good draft pick)...Ideally I am sure most fans (such as myself) would like to keep all 3 on this team, but since it is clear that what we lack is a legit scoring threat, its pretty much set in stone that we probably will have to give up 1 or 2, or maybe even all 3, of the players mentioned in this poll...
Fourth....if you want a name of a "Superstar Scorer"...then here I go. KOBE BRYANT.
The reason I kept it open ended like that is because I am pretty sure most Kings fans have their own opinion(s) on which superstar(s) we should go after....
And, NO, Kevin Martin does NOT count...
So if you ask who I would rather give up, it would be the less talented of the 3, Cisco and Donte. But if you trade lesser talent, you receive less in return. I bring that up, because if you want something halfway decent in return, you need to trade Omri, but Omri is the one I'd rather keep.
Then it becomes a question of what you're getting in return. You want a scorer. A pure scorer? That's what KMart is. Can't do anything else. Or a better allaround player, like a Granger/Wallace/Prince? Or is it even a sf you want in return? Omri for Lowry? But Lowry isn't a scorer, but could help this team. We have a lack of outside shooting on this team, but one of our biggest problems has been opposing wings lighting us up. In that case, a topflight scorer isn't as important as someone who can defend wings.
What about chemistry? You want a shooter, or a ball dominant player who needs the ball? Do you expect a superstar scorer to come in and take a back seat to Tyreke and Cousins? Granger would work. Brandon Roy wouldn't. See my point?
You bring up we might have to trade all 3 to get a scorer in return. You can't trade all 3 sf's to a team, and expect something great in return. Well, technically you could, but you would have to show me one time in history of the NBA a team unloaded all 3 of their sf's in a trade.
You brought up Kobe as a superstar scorer. He's much more than a scorer. Like I said, a scorer, or allaround player? Why wouldn't Kevin count? He's a top 10 scorer, and 3rd in the league in 3's made. If you're interested in trade ideas, I suggest you do some research, and present a realistic trade proposal in the Personnel Moves forum. But this question is far to openended to give a detailed answer, without any guidelines. KMart fits perfectly as an answer to your original question, but you said he doesn't count, nor could we trade those guys for him.
How about you tell us what you think all three could yield in a trade, and ask if we would pull the trigger on that trade? What is the value of each? What teams would be interested? What position are you trading for? Scorer, shooter, or allaround player?
