Holmes just played a game where he was back in rhythm. Why not at least see if he can string some good games together, instead of deciding to not play him in the next two? He wouldn't have played tonight, had Metu not gone down.
It just has to be he's in trade talks. I'm not sure how much worse the back-up C slot can get, he gave us by FAR the best individual game performance of the season vs the Lakers of any of the back-up options and just hasn't been in the rotation since. These past 2 games would have been by far the best opportunity to try and rework him in the rotation if we thought there was any future, but we passed.
