Now there is about a 10 percent chance of this happening but imagine if your role players long term were Devin, Keon, IJ and iCraw? Just a bunch of long gritty high energy players. It would be cool if 3 of those panned out.
I'd rather see Christie start Ellis and return Monk to the sixth man role.

I'll just say, young athletes these days have to be dealt with a little differently than it used to. if DC can tap into that better than Mike Brown then he'll have a chance.
I get sitting a guy down and letting him think about it, if his mistakes are outweighing his positives. That isn't the case with a player like Keon and I doubt it will be the case with Devin Carter

Monk hit eight straight free throws in the fourth quarter, plus the layup that was declared goaltending. That's a lot of pressure shots. He was 10-10 from the line.

Fox was just brilliant and kept his team in the game. Sabonis with 21 rebounds and led the Kings to a 45-34 rebounding advantage. Ellis with 4 steals. Lyles with 12 off the bench and 7 rebounds. A lot of heros in this game.
Monk missed a number of pressure free throws last year that cost us games. It was great to see him hit those tonight.

We need Keon to be Isaiah Joe on offense and Keon Ellis on defense
He is currently at 42% from 3. In the last 2 seasons, he rarely goes on an extended cold streak. Ironically the one time he did for a short span, was in the preseason, which may have prompted Brown to remove him from the starting lineup. Really wish that move had not happened

I’d like to see his volume go up. Still a few too many pump fakes. He doesn’t really have an offensive game outside of threes like Joe so just let it fly. This was a great performance from him

@Mr. S£im Citrus perfectly highlighted the core issue with our 2-guard rotation.

Fox isn’t a traditional point guard who thrives on distributing the ball.

With Monk on the floor, the offense flows much better—sometimes overly so—but it comes at the cost of defensive stability. Meanwhile, Keon’s defensive prowess and ability to force turnovers elevate our defense, yet offensively, teams like the Sixers tonight can exploit Domas’ hand-offs and force turnovers due to our lack of a natural distributor.

What we truly need is a player who can lighten Fox’s playmaking load without compromising on defense.

Hopefully, Devin Carter can be that player.
