[Game] Kings v. Lakers - Thursday, Dec. 27 - 7PT/10ET

We shouldn't have to rally as a team every night.
I love rallies when the other team is better but we find a way to get the win.
I hate rallies when we just don't care about playing any defense for three quarters.
A win is a win... But I start getting worried with this.
I take it the opposite way. It is the testimate to the team they can win when not playing at thier best. If this was the kings of old we would have lost this game. It tells me we have the talent to win in this league. I am not saying for the kings slack off or anything. It is good to know we are good enough to win on bad nights. When was the last we could say that about a kings team?

Kings have trouble playing teams with a lot of length and they beat a team of long, long guys. Lots of grit down the stretch
You need a full sized/strength SF to compete at a high level imo we don't have one, Shumpert is the closest thing he's solid but we need another bigger more physical wing. Even someone as awful as Solomon Hill/Lance Thomas at this point would help guarding the Ingram/Kuzma types to give Shumpert the MVP of the game a break.

I would not mind seeing more of Bjelica @C when Bagley comes back and cutting KK out of the rotation. Props to WCS he was actually contesting shots at the rim tonight which meant we didn't go to deep into a hole where we could not comeback.

What an absolutely monster win. So there's a little separation being set at the top of the West (1.5 games between 3 and 4) and at the bottom (1.5 games between 13 and 14). But somehow there's still only 4 games separating the 4 and 13 seed and we're about to turn over the calendar to the new year. Crazy.

H-H match-ups are going to matter so much with seeding this year. So anytime we can get a W vs one of these 4-13 teams in the West, it makes them that much more valuable. Wouldn't be surprised to look back come playoff time and point to this win having some sort of playoff implications for us.

It’s a good day when you live and SoCal these laker fans hated me at the gym tonight. Called Bogie after I made all my shots.

Also why does chandler get away with murder in late games dude pushes his way for rebounds and never gets called for it
All of Chandler's screens are offensive fouls and he's too old to really jump so all of his rebounds only happen after he's shoved the other team's big man out of the way. He’s doing the right thing but he’s too slow to do them legally anymore

Watching replays of the shot, one of the things that popped out to me is the Lakers leaving the path completely open for De’Aaron to have another putback dunk. Like he was completely in the perfect position to rebound the miss and the nearest laker was on the other side of the hoop looking at Bogie.

You just don't know who will be 1-3. Besides GSW, I don't see a single team that is a lock. So, any win matters.

Great win!!!

These last 4 games have left me having doubts but I can really enjoy winning 3 out of 4 any day.

Glad to have stayed up and watched this one. Bogi is the type of player I have always admired, smart with a killer instinct and not afraid of the big shot.

I’ve been driving back home today from California to Seattle and so listened to the radio call of the game. Usually I just watch the game on delay if I miss it live, but it’s a long drive and thought it would be fun to listen to the radio call. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve sat though a full game with Gary Gerould. What a fun time. It took me back 25 years, sitting it my room, listening to the game on my old portable AM radio. Sweet to hear him call that last shot live.
I love this story!

I used to live in Pinole years ago, just outside of tv range. My apartment faced San Pablo bay and on a good day I could point the rabbit ears eastward off the balcony and get some fuzzy tv reception.

On cloudy days I would sit in my car with a beer and listen to the G-man. He is without doubt the best in the business.

Yeah sure. Let’s play at the fastest pace in the NBA and only play 7 guys like we essentially did last night. Sounds like a recipe for injury.

I was too distracted by the mom on the phone who had to be nudged in order to realize the Kings won the game.
I'm sorry, but behavior (non-behavior?) like that should get you an instant lifetime ban on NBA courtside seats. You buy a courtside seat, the usher escorts you out and swaps your seat with a randomly-selected fan from the upper deck.

I mean, I get it, you might want to check out the boxscore or some stats on your phone, or you might want to text your friend about an amazing play that just happened, or you might be settling a bet with your seatmate. I get it. We live in a world now where the phone reigns (almost) supreme. But those seats, directly behind Grant and Doug in the front row? Those cost, what, at least $500 a pop? More for a Laker game? YOU DO NOT SIT THERE FOR THE FREE WI-FI. WHEN IT IS A TWO-POINT GAME WITH FOUR SECONDS LEFT YOU WATCH THE BASKETBALL GAME TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHATISWRONGWITHYOUAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I feel the same way haha. The arena is ROARING around you and you are so self absorbed in your phone you MISSED THE BEST PLAY!!! What a waste of money. And the chick next to her was WEARING A KINGS SWEATER!!! There HAS to be a blond joke around here somewhere that fits

I just wanted you to know that toward the end of the game WCS got away with one by pushing Chandler in order to get a key rebound. I loved it!

Its pretty clear she was dragged to the game. In any case im sure she expected us to win. Its nonchalant confidence in the Kings to get it done. She's strongly considering joining the bandwagon.

Either way she/her sponsor is lining Viveks pockets and i hope he spends it well on our roster and Brendon's severance package
