Thornton, per reports, is all but gone for Terry. That moves McLemore into the starting five with Terry playing backup minutes at the one and two and McCallum getting 10 minutes or so (assuming Fredette gets moved as well.)
Tony Allen makes a lot of sense if IT is starting point guard for the next several years. I personally don't see that happening, meaning we would need a more well-rounded two.
Allen is getting a bit older, and he's had a few very successful years as a bench guard. I actually think he and Ben could potentially form a pretty solid SG core that can give you what you need on any given night. Also can swing to a smallball SF.
