I want a Kyle Lowry or a Mike Conley. Those are the types of PGs I want.

He uses his dribble penetration to look for his own shot. Seldom does he dribble penetrate and look to see what mismatches he has created. He initially looks to see if he can get any type of shot up then he looks to pass. It's one of the big differences between him and a guy like Rondo.

There are two superior players on the floor with him. He should act like it.

I agree. However, there are a few teams out there (an ever shrinking number) that do not rely on dribble penetration, but a motion offense to get the ball inside and near the hoop.

I believe the Luxury Tax Level is projected to be at 75.7 mil next season Baja. Nevertheless, your statement about resigning him is still true as $4.6 mil will most likely not be enough to retain him.

I hate that Landry signing.. I never understood it. Do you think the bucks would do this trade?

Ilysova has been struggling all season long. Landry has a similar contract, but his contract is about 1.5million less. D-Will would only have 1 year left after this season. D-Will is young talent for the rebuilding bucks. He could be easily inserted in as a SF.

IT has to go now, For PDA to go out of his way to say "Ben is going nowhere" but not say that about Isaiah confirms he is being shopped big time and isn't seen as a piece going forward. Why would he want to re-sign with a team that was shopping him to everyone just a few months earlier? Its Rondo, Lowry or bust for me personally. Jarrett Jack is a nice backup, but thats it.

Pretty much. One of the reasons I think Petrie and his tight lipped no tip offs stance was a good one to have. Hopefully this rookie front office doesn't learn the drawbacks to airing your business like this.

One of the many major pieces the Bucks are missing is a low post scoring threat. Landry and Henson are garbage men, getting points on putbacks and dunks. Ilyasova is a stretch 4 who is having a bad time of it because there is no low post threat to play off of.

If you assume that Landry can return to form as an efficient low post scorer, then he should fit a need for the Bucks. In the East, he would even be considered a full-size, rebounding power forward.

Kings have serious cap issues next year assuming Rudy stays. Factor in a top 5 rookie scale player and signing IT is very difficult.

I think you are missing the point....

The front office knows Landry. The FO knows what his strengths and weaknesses are/were and they signed him. I hate to tell you this but they don't see it as a stupid move....

I probably disagree with everything you post.

When Reke was here I wouldn't have touched Rubio. With our current makeup and after you get past Rondo/Lowry/Dragic/Bledsoe, Rubio is one of the few who fits our developing blueprint. I wouldn't give him huge money though. I would however offer him 8-9M per before offering IT 7-8M per as he'd actually fit what we're doing and isn't a defensive liability. He's not a star and we don't need a star. He's more a glue guy. He's somewhat of a PG version of Christie, passing/good handle/good defender(although Doug was better) and a shaky ass jumper which hopefully will improve as Doug's did.

Get a shotblocker/plus defender at the 4 and 3&D SG next to Rubio/Rudy/Cuz, and that's a pretty solid squad. Rubio would also be better in our system than he is in Rick's. He also looks worse defensively than he actually is playing next to K-Mart who's atrocious on that end, Love who's below average and Pek, who while he's a good man defender is quite poor in rotations/help situations and Minn has zero shotblocking presence down low.

One real question there is Lowry and Gay did NOT mesh well in Toronto. Now, I can easily believe it was the stupid system etc., but it would obviously be no good to trade for him, have he and Gay seize up again, lose him in free agency etc. etc., I've always liked Lowry, advocated getting him on several occasions when Petrie should have damn well done something. But he's a different package level than Rondo.

That is always the question but I suspect the problematic fit was between Gay and DeRozen as they duplicated each other. I suspect things would be different with Cousins-Gay-Lowry trio than they were with Gay-DeRozen-Lowry.

Even if he is a great fit, the big question is, whether the front office would be willing to re-sign Lowry in the off-season considering that he will get offers starts off at $10 million a season.

Yeah, because all along a majority of us have said we hate Isaiah and wish he had never been born.

Good grief, dude. Your passion for Isaiah is nauseating, almost as bad as your misrepresentation of how most of us feel about IT. Primarily, the main problem we have is we do not see him as a starting point guard, we wish we could go back to having him come off the bench and we fear that because of his production he will deserve more in his new contract that we will be able to give for a 6th man (which is where most of us think he is best suited).

Yea, watched this earlier. I don't know what anyone gains from this kind of press conference. Seems like a rookie GM move to me. Talk about it on Thursday, not now.

If PDA deals Ben after this point he'll look like a jerk, which can obviously cloud his judgement if the Celtics, or whoever do come calling. And then not defending MT, or IT as hard as he defended Ben just doesn't sound right. Just a weird thing to come out and say without any reason for it.

And yet, Minnesota has the 10th ranked defense in the NBA. Good team defense, smart rotations, Rubio's thievery and Corey Brewer get a lot of credit for that.
