Deja Vu? is this Jan 1995 all over again?

Back in the old days, the 90's until Mitch got grumpy in 1996, we'd beat good teams, lose to poor teams, do ok for 3 quarters, do terrible on the road (but a winning record at home), and just look, well ordinary.

Whoops, that was Sat-Sun this weekend!! Ahh, also week before last. Hmm, is this Deja Vu all over again (as our buddy Jerry would say).

No leadership, nothing stopping other teams from scoring 50+ points in the paint (MIA had 70 I think!).

Yep, its Deja Vu for sure. We fans filled the arena every night, cheered our brains out, supported the Kings, such as they were. For you who remember, we may need that mind set now.

Basketball and sports in general, is cyclical. Every team gets ups and downs (OK, Paper Clips not included until now), every winning franchise goes to or near the top then cycles down again. The Celts and Showtime Lakers did it and they each had 10-12 year runs. Others get 2-4 year runs. We had ours and we naturally got spoiled. I'm still a fan and still support them and watch every game on satellite (which can actually make you miss Grant and Jerry, but that is another story).

Everyone of us is an armchair coach, its how we let off steam. Well my boiler is low on water and the log pile is getting shorter...........but for 18 years I learned patience, most of the time anyway.
