Someone asked Colangelo about Drummond's chances now and he basically said he was almost a lock as he brings what we are looking for in defense , rebounding and blocking shots and has a great attitude....but we will see what he has learned over the last year. Cuz is going to get screwed.

I'm going to quote myself from a few days back.....Colangelo is going to screw Cuz over and I've never bought into the Coach K worshipping....if these reports are true...SMH. Cuz should be on the team because he's only the best big man in the game...now if Plumlee makes it over Cuz, if these reports are true....WTF. That's just criminal. It may be unpatriotic, but damn it. If Cousins is shunned for a Dukie ................. . I really, really don't like Duke. Especially one who isn't in Cousin's class. Bronze would be TOO good for Mr. K.

Its ok -- it happens I will be rooting for us to go down too. Comeuppance trumps petty nationalism for me since I have never really cared about international tournaments. I'd actually likely feel that way even if it was just Drummond getting screwed over, but we intentionally go into an international tournament with 1 credible big? Would kind of deserve to lose and I'd be fine if we did. In fact prefer it as it would likely lead to a changing of the guard.

I know Plumlee played at Duke for coach K, but that kind of loyalty shouldn't enter into this conversation. Anyone with half a brain knows that Cousins is ten times the player Plumlee is. My hope is that this is just a test to see if Cousins can keep his head on straight. My advice to Boogie tomorrow is to just play his game straight up. Play the way they asked you to and don't try and take any of your frustration out on Plumlee. Just out play him! If this isn't a test, then Coach K is nuts, and I've lost all respect for him. Frankly, choosing Plumlee over Cousins is the biggest insult you could throw at Cuz.
