Cousins Back for Team USA

If coach K ever plays a curry harden irving lineup ever vs Spain we won't come within 10 points of them. That included Faried and Davis getting abused by the brothers Gosal.
 
I really like a lineup of Drummond/Davis/Harden/Curry/Irving. All that shotblocking, ability to run the floor, and 3pt shooting makes for a team that should stomp on everyone.
 
I can't believe that Mason Plumlee is going to make the squad and potentially Demarcus Cousins isn't. We're talking about a player who at best is a third big off the bench compared to arguably the best center in the game. I'm blown away.
 
The correct people to cut are: Plumlee, Parsons, Lillard, Hayward.

Though I would swap Rose for Lillard on the cut list if we knew more about his injury status because the schedule is going to be a grind.

Don't worry guys, Cousins is a lock. You just don't leave out a player that has that much skills, size and strength. Coach K wants to use quickness and run up and down. But what if that doesn't work against certain teams?

Once it gets to the deeper rounds, the opponents will be tougher. And just like the NBA playoffs, the game becomes a half court game a lot of times whether you like it or not. You NEED Cousins to allow your team to have different looks and play inside out when you have nothing going on the run and gun game.
 
That little put back on the free throw attempt while holding off the other teams Big with one arm says it all for Cousins. No one else has Cousins size and strength. Curry and Cousins did have a nice mix going to finish the game.
 
Yup, both in. Unless the coaching staff is crazy, I didn't see how they could leave Cousins off the team.

Interesting that they are bringing in both drummond & plumlee.

You know what that means? Big Cuz has a good chance to start @ the 5 with Davis at the 4 at least for some games.

Also, Gay is going to start at the 4 for some games as well. It's an honor to have 2 national team players from our team.

Lets hope they bring home the gold, gain lots of experience & chemistry and use that to lead us into the playoffs. Oh, and stay injury free. :D

For some reason they seem to be extremely high on Faried I actually see him or Gay starting at the 4, I am actually shocked they cut Milsap instead of Drummond/Plums
