I just remember huerter being in the 3 pt contest and completly embarrassing himself. Seems like he’s never been the guy the kings were hoping for.
In his Sacramento career he has shot .384 from three on 6 attempts per game. Seems like about what the Kings should have been hoping for.

If Huerter is not the fit they need to balance the starting lineup, they've now got a guy on a minimum contract in McDermott, who is a similar type of stretch shooter and can do that off the bench at the 3.

It would be hard to justify paying a guy 16.83 mil to be a bench shooter, who isn't your 6th man

Such a beast. He shot 20.5% in 22-23 playoffs from 3.

Steady decline from 3.
Playoffs 20-21 - 34.7%
Playoffs 21-22 - 29%
Playoffs 22-23 - 20.5%

Hhhm wonder why we weren't in the playoffs in 23-24

Looking at his average over a long time doesn't account for him changing his shot each week last season or how horrible he was after the All Star festivities.

For 23-24 season he shot 36.1%, not what anyone is hoping for considering it is LOWER than the league wide average for that season (36.6%).

341 shots of below mediocrity and ppl wonder why we are upset Ellis isn't out there(?)

There was only 110 better shooters in the NBA by 3pt % last year. That means 3.6 better shooters per team on average.

Kevin Huerter is not a good shooter anymore. Period.
