In response to an earlier post in a closed thread, if you're going to fire Adelman, you're going to have to do a LOT better than Flip, Musselman or P.J. Carlisimo (are you kidding me?)

Jeff Van Gundy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are wondering I added Larry Brown because all points lead to him not returning to the Pistons next year. I added Donnie's name because we all love small ball.:D

Congratulations. You are the newest member of the IMVF21SOHK club.

That comment is funny on so many different levels...either that, or I'm really tired.

;)

what can i say im in love with the comb over hairstyle ;)

edit: wheres mo cheeks on the list?

I refuse to vote for any of those guys other then Rick. It is Rick for me until we can identify and hire a young(er) and up and coming empire builder like Rick Carlisle or even Scott Skiles. Don't want no part of quick turnaround guys (a la Larry Brown) or Philip or anyone else who will be here today gone tommorrow. Not to mention that others on that list are not as good as RA. We're not on the cusp of winning NBA championship we're in it for a long haul and I want competitive team and play off runs every year until we find magic. RA will do until further notice. ;)

I picked other... I'm thinking my brother would be a good choice. He played high school, college and almost made it to the big show - except for some knee problems that weren't as easily fixed 30 years ago as they are now.

He played college hoops in tournaments against Bill Walton.

He's a local boy and loves the team. He does free-lance consulting work now so he'd have enough time.

...

And I'd be able to coerce him into getting me passes to all the games. Big sisters know things about little brothers that they could tell Ailene Voisin.

:D

MY BROTHER FOR COACH!!!

MY BROTHER FOR COACH!!!
I think a lot of Kings fans think they could do a better job...

I don't think he'd do a better job. It's not about that at all.

It's about me getting passes to all the games.

Geez.....................

I don't think a few of those coaches are realistic options. I'll stick with Rick for another season. I think he took this squad as far as it could go. Ask yourself if you really think another coach would have won this series for us. I don't think another coach could have done better than stretching it to maybe 6 games. This wasn't supposed to be a permanent group anyway. Let's see what Rick can do with a real team.

If Jeff Van Gundy coached these Kings, the concentrated amount of hatred for the refs would rip a hole in the fabric of space and time, obliterating the known universe.

Voice over (Rod Serling) - You are about to enter another dimension, a dimension of time and space... and what the hell was that? I could swear I just saw David Stern's head rocket by at warp speed!

Why am I not on the list??

I know all the players' names.

I used to know a little sign language, so I'd be totally awesome at signaling plays.

Um...I'm not above flashing the opponents as a means of distraction.

That would definitely make every Kings game a nationally televised "must see" game.

I voted to keep Rick, but Laimbeer is the one guy on that list who is actually intriguing. If Rick resigned, Laimbeer might be a good choice.

Like I said in the other thread, I like Mo Cheeks. I think he balances the reaching out to players sort of mentality that Adleman had with an adge and intensity that Adleman lacks.

Coach banned from team locker room
By Ailene Voisin, Bee Shaft Writer

Coach GoGoGadget was banned from the locker room of the Sacramento Kings today. Although details were sketchy and no one in the media relations office would discuss it, it is common knowledge that at least four players went to Joe Maloof with complaints about "grabbing" and "leering" and something about digital photos. Further details were not available. Coach G3 was not available for comment.

Although the Maloofs would not comment, it is widely known they are considering taking legal action against former power forward Chris Webber for his complicity in the events leading up to the banishment.

That was such a stupid post. I'm not saying Rick's the best, but Flip couldn't even make the playoffs with KG. That means something. E. Musselman had 1 good year with the Warriors. They didn't even have winning record. I won't even respopnd o PJ Carlisimo.

Okay, that's no even remotely realistic.

Like anyone would complain. P'shaw!

At the risk of being too serious for this thread... I say keep Adelman. If we really want to go young and retool, I think Mussellman would be a good guy to have during rebuilding.

Just hadto say..I was teary-eyed thinking about all the changes this season and then I came and read this thread. LMAO. Thanks I needed that! :D
