Your BOTTOM 3 Kings? Why?

kenny thomas stinks, brad miller stunk, but at least he had someg good moments. um, i kinda have a love/hate thing goin on with peja. great shooter. made me happy sometimes, but just watching him year after year get shut down by sub-prime defenders made me sick

To those who have posted up Brad Miller, Mike Bibby, Kevin Martin and John Salmons you guys must be smoking crack.
I don't know about Brad Miller because he could be awfully frustrating to watch a lot of the time. But the other three should never be on this list. They are just too damn good of ballplayers and they helped (are helping in the case of Martin) the Kings win games.

1. Officer Polyniece, obvious
2. Reggie Theus, because his tenure as coach set us back at least one year,
3. Greg Ostertag, Not because of his play, or his pay/play ratio, or his attitude (which were all ok) but because the day the Kings signed him, it indicated that Vlade would not be back, and that the run of our championship caliber team was over.

Sadly, i feel that our championship run was over once Webber injured his knee in the 03 playoffs. To his credit, Webber still played amazing basketball (offense, rebounding) once he came back.

1-douby, that was easy....

2-thomas, just as easy....

3-beno/peeler, peeler cost us wallace and beno just sucks....
I thought we lost Wallace because of that stupid expansion draft. I REALLY liked Peeler lol. He could score and he gave the Kings some much needed scrappyness. I remember when he punched Kevin Garnett in the 04 playoffs.

1. Billy Owens - For being all around garbage while thinking he was something special. (Yes he turned into C-Webb but he was still garbage)

2. Nick Anderson - For having the least amount of confidence in a professional athlete I have ever seen. Also for not being able to hit a free throw to save his life.

3. Duane Causwell - Possibly the worst dunking 7 footer ever. He even beats Vlade since it came down to not being able to get off the ground for Divac whereas Causy just plain sucked and would slam it off the back iron again and again and again.

we lost wallace in the expansion draft because we had to protect peeler because petrie gave peeler a player option so we had to protect him even though he didnt stay with the team. damn you peeler..... if we had protected wallace we would have drafted martin immediately after in the actual 2004 draft.

I should have thought of that!
You're kidding right?!? So...do you put Mitch Richmond on that list because he played for LA?? Oh, and my three:

1)Out of Service Pervis
2)Ralph Sampson
3)Derek Smith(RIP)

Edit-

Honorable mention:

Mahmoud Abdul Rauf
Joe 'We could have got Malone' Kleine

I tell you what: Martin + Wallace would have been one hell of a team to watch...

Agreed. Pack in a couple of 7 footers for the front-court and a basic PG and you have a dunkstravaganza.

Only worry there would be the inevitable mid-air collisions between the two players going for the same alley-oop.

Mateen Cleaves = good college player who never made the transition to good NBA guard, and did little for the Kings.

Jabari Smith = Never was able to make an impact.

Kenny Thomas/Mikki Moore. No comment needed.

Anyone putting Brad Miller on this list doesn't understand NBA basketball. He was an all-star and a good, journeyman center. But nobody will argue these 3 bottom feeders:

- OP

- Pervus Ellison

- Duane Causwell

Taken directly from the OP:

With the top 3 thread out there, i couldn't help but to start one for your least favorite Kings....

Do not confuse "least favorite" with "bad." Anybody who doesn't understand why someone could put Brad Miller on this list needs a remedial course in basic reading comprehension. Or is it your contention that anybody who played for the Kings who was even marginally good has to have been universally liked?

Alright, so those adding Brad Miller to their least favorite list is fair since it's really an opinion thread. But in my opinion, anyone who puts Brad Miller on their least favorite Kings thread is a moron.

The point is that this is an opinion thread. As such, arguing your point is ... well ... pointless.

Seems you should read your own comments a bit more thoroughly and not also make your comments personal. The thread is "Bottom 3 Kings". The Kings are professional team of players. Bottom 3 to me, and I suspect many others KingsFans, relates to their play on the court and within the team. Whether they are nice guys or not is not relevant in that context. Also personal feelings towards a player has no relationship as to his contribution to the team.

All in all I don't even like that this thread got started in the first place, especially since personal feelings toward a player or person have now entered the discussion.

My comments aren't personal, and if you think that they are, then you need to read them again. If you got "worst players" out of "least favorite," then you (the royal "you," not "you" as in CruzDude, specificaly) probably do have a problem with reading comprehension. That's not a personal comment, it's an observation based on demonstrated behavior. And if you just read the thread title and assumed what it inferred without actually reading the OP, then that's your issue, not the issue of the people who did.

Bay-No - Arguably the worst point guard in recent Kings history (Makes Jason Hart look like an All Star)....

B-52 Bummer - Weak Center who only knows how to shoot long range jump shots, gets his a$$ handed to him down low....

K-9 "The Canine" - Weak Center who only knows how to hog a spot on the Kings' bench just to collect the green dough....
