I saw it last night and enjoyed it. In general, we thought it was a good movie. Lots of action, some twists and turns, and some very good performances, especially by Dennis Quaid. For once, an action movie without the big "explosion" at the end of the film. Of course, you have the nicely wrapped up Hollywood ending.
A few negatives:
1. Forest Whitaker is a very good actor, but it was almost like he was trying too hard to be believable as a bystander, if that makes any sense.
2. The "rewind" bit was not really necessary after each viewpoint. Got a bit old after a while.
3. It was kind of annoying that each time you were following a character they didn't let you see everything the character saw, but necessary for the way the film was shot, I guess.
Hadn't seen it in a few years, but every time I do it strikes me how it doesn't seem like a movie that came out the same year as Breakfast Club. Might be the discolored nude corpse, I dunno. That's not an 80s cliche exactly.
