I was gonna say we should look into bringing’PJ here as a third team then checked is contract my god
if a pick (guessing second rounder) and a middling prospect on a bad contract is all it takes for Jonas, the Kings can beat the Nuggets offer.
they are going all in it seems. I’m still shocked they are willing to trade MPJ for Lavine but I guess they think he has the skill set they need and since both players have injury history they figure it’s worth the risk.

They are in their championship contending window, why wouldn't they go all in
Feels like Cam Johnson would fit into this team really good.Capt. Sez: Probably not interesting, but unclogging it from the news feed in case anybody wants to see it. Gist: Kings have inquired into DFS, Cam Johnson, Kuzma, are willing to trade Huerter/Lyles.
Welp…that sucks.
Grizz will trade Smart imo after this move, DFS replaces what he does and is much bigger and without the low IQ factor Smart brings
If it’s not, the Grizzlies might need to fire their GM lolWell we know who Sidery was trying to build a market for. Dudes working the Nets, lol. Good for them getting a pick, wonder if it's protected.
Also more proof that De’Aaron would fetch an absolutely stupid haul if the Kings actually did decide to put him on the trade market. This is why teams get away with these stupid asking prices for their role players. Because someone eventually caves and pays it.
Stupid trade for Mem
I'm seeing fans of other teams (like the Mavs and Thunder) clamoring for Deni Avdija. I think he would make a whole lot of sense for the Kings too. Not sure how the Kings can go about trading for him though. Any ideas?
- G: Fox
- G: Monk/Ellis
- F: Murray/DeRozan
- F: Avdija
- C: Sabonis
He then went on to be so bad that the Blazers had to bench him so who knows what they want to do with him longterm at this point.Didn’t Portland just trade a first for him no way they trade him after giving up assets this quick
I guess this is where the Kings FO need to put on their Woody Woodpecker hats and tap, tap, tap away.Didn’t Portland just trade a first for him no way they trade him after giving up assets this quick

If Avdija is made aware of the Kings' genuine interest in him, I'd like to think that he would ask out... to be part of a better team/squad.
If DFS got a first that has to take us out on Cam. After what we saw today, we better not trade Carter and more for Cam. That kind of lunacy might be enough to send my fandom packing. That leaves Kuzma or Collins. It has to be one it’s Collins all the way for me.
Would it not be DeRozan with way worse offense but more playmaking (not needed really with Sabonis/Fox) and equally bad spacing?I'm seeing fans of other teams (like the Thunder and Mavs) clamoring for Deni Avdija. with less iso, less points per game... but more defense (including the ability to be a lead defender), more spacing (36% on 5.5 3PA vs 31% on 2.2 3PA per 36, and including a willingness to stay in the corner), more play-making, more height, more rebounds (+4 rebounds per 36).Would it not be DeRozan with way worse offense but more playmaking (not needed really with Sabonis/Fox) and equally bad spacing?
Not ideal fit but yeah you are correct he's a very unselfish player , I do think his best role is off the bench but another playmaker would not hurt.with less iso, less points per game... but more defense (including the ability to be a lead defender), more spacing (36% on 5.5 3PA vs 31% on 2.2 3PA per 36, and including a willingness to stay in the corner), more play-making, more height, more rebounds (+4 rebounds per 36).
I think Deni would just fit much better with either Murray or DeRozan in the lineup, compared to playing Murray + DeRozan as the two Forwards. This might also help to bring more out of Murray, DeRozan and others.
