The Warriors giving up anything of value for a 35 year old seems like a bad idea. Especially with that contract situation. Hopefully they do though, lol.

Got an article saying herb jones would be good fit for kings. Not sure what that does to the starting lineup but he and Keon played together at Bama

Assuming the Heat don’t have a random declining Brad Beal fetish (dude still has a no trade clause btw), what do the Suns possibly have left that the Heat would want that they would actually be willing to move in a trade without violating their second apron rules?
Only 3 more days until Jonas Valanciunas is eligible to be traded.
he’s not an ideal fit given his defense but there is no question he would bring much better offense and toughness and the obvious connection with Domas. The question is what is his value? The Lakers are the team most linked to him but I don’t think they can give up a first rounder given the state of their team. What do we swing the Wizards way? I don’t know if they would want Kev given they are looking to get way younger and they already have Kispert in a similar role. We just have 3 seconds to move, not sure that gets it done. They better not do something stupid and include Keon in a deal like that.
I like him as a big body off the bench. He's also another Kings killer who is probably going to end up on one of our rivals for those top 6 playoff seeds if we don't find a way to trade for him. Jonas' salary (just $9.9M this season) likely rules out Kevin ($16.8M) as the main piece. Washington is going to want expiring contracts and draft picks I would think. It seems like the trade would have to be Trey Lyles ($8M expiring) + 1 of these $2M guys (Robinson/Len/Doug/JMac) + whatever draft picks are needed to entice them.
That Valanciunas contract is so good though that it may actually be worth throwing in a future first for him. We would have a solid backup for the next 3 years at way below market value and we'd still have Kevin to use as our main weapon off the bench or as another trade chip.

The latest rumor for Jonas is to the Lakers for Gabe Vincent, a minimum salary guy and 1 second rounders.
Reed would help a ton on the glass would be a great back up Pf/C if given timePaul Reed waived today. I'd rather have him than Robinson
If you bring in Kuzma or Cam is Monk going back to the bench? We have been playing better lately and the chemistry of this lineup has been growing, we want to mess with that now? Who is in the closing lineup? If Monk or Kuz are not, how is that going to fly? Also a two for one deal still leaves us pretty thin depth wise. If you start Cam or Kuz your bench is Monk, Keon, Len or Jones and eventually Carter?

This is another reason why we should go after DFS over Cam Johnson. With Johnson’s salary, we’re forced to swap to rotation players (Huerter and Lyles) for 1. Going after DFS allows us to keep a guy like Lyles as another rotational piece (or use Lyles in another trade to further upgrade the bench). If you bring in Kuzma or Cam is Monk going back to the bench? I mean I’d say Cam’s got average size/length (not good size/length) for a SF but he’s not addressing our glaring weakness that has persisted for a few years now (a long, athletic PF who can defend and space the floor). For as cold as I have always been on Kuzma, he is having a miserable year so far, so I'm going to call bringing in Kuzma a "mistake".
Cam is shooting the lights out and if you bring him in you've got a full-sized wing that just makes our rotation that much bigger. I dunno, make Monk happy and have Cam come off the bench for ~30 minutes a night, adjust the closing lineup based on who's hot that game and matchups. Right now we have at least 6 guys who think they should be starting (Huerter being odd man out). It's a decent problem to have. Keeps everybody hungry.
