Is that for the latter question? Any idea on the kickoff returns? My google is broken![]()
No idea on the kickoffs. My google is lazy. I heard the answer to the first question during the Chiefs/Colts game.

Well game played by the Vikings & Jets. Vikings came up just short, a Favre pick 6 sealed the deal. They protected him well though regardless all game long and finally were putting up some points. I look forward to seeing Sydney Rice back with the team soon with those weapons and they should be able to put up plenty of points just like last season. The Jets, well they have been playing phenomenal football ever since their loss to Baltimore. They are a legit threat on the ground & in the passing game now, and that's super scary to think about. I didn't watch the game so I can't make much further evaluation, but it looked like an entertaining game none the less.
The last 1.5 quarters was entertaining. The first 2.5 was like watching grass grow
Well if you can sit for a 10-7 game, then how come you went to the gym? LOLYeah, I'm a football guy that can sit through a 10-7 game and love it, but I left before halftime and went to the gym.

I think those types of games are boring.
New England went out and got Branch again after all
Hmm, I usually think the player comes out looking stupid as f in these cases. The team has already reduced his tender to either the minimum or slightly above, but just a fraction of what he was supposed to make either way. So he either signs for pennies on the dollar for half a season or he is in contract hell for another year. Keep in mind that if the Chargers pull the offer he becomes an unrestricted free agent and can leave for nothing.
I think he'll be unrestricted if he signs for this year. It's either Chargers pull the tender and he signs with whoever he wants now, they keep the tender and he signs whenever (but needs to sign by week 10 for a year's worth of credit) or he doesn't sign the tender/waits past week 10 and he starts next season with the same status he had this season. Assuming no major changes to the CBA and it seems like this next CBA is going to me more owner than player friendly as is the trend in all the leagues.Oh, so if he signs the tender then he'll be a restricted free agent after the season? That makes more sense. I guess it's still possible that they work something out like they did with McNeill but I highly doubt it.

Caught out of the corner of my eye at dinner tonight that they had put Merriman on a special injured list that requires they release him at the end of the injury. I'm not sure why that even makes sense as opposed to an outright release? But guess Merriman is now on the market.
Everyone does it!
I question the veracity of that comment.
