Lamar Odom anyone?

Ok hear me out atleast. I like LO, and think he still has "mad" untapped potential. Although his natural postion is small forward, he is 6"10, and I think with him and Brad in our front court, our princeton offense could thrive. He could be somewhat of a Webber replacement, albeit a poor man's one. He has very good rebounding numbers, and is a very good playmaker. He doesn't have much of a low post game, but outside of Duncan and Shaq who really does these days. Our frontline would probably still get abused by other teams, but we could use part of the MLE to sign an Evans type player as a backup and we would still have Skinner backing Brad. Not sure if the Lakers would want to do this trade, but I checked it on realgm and we would have to send Kenny Thomas and Corliss to get it done. Your thoughts?

Good deal for us, terrible deal for the Lakers. I don't know why they would do that, esp now Phil is coaching them again. Lamar would serve the Scottie Pippen role for them, and could thrive in that role. Trading for Lemar would probably cost us Peja and I don't know if that is worth it for us.

I was in favor of trading PEJA for him for those same reasons -- has a lot of the skills we used to have in our PF. But there is not a snowball's chance in hell the Lakers would trade him for our spare parts. In particular with PJ back in town he is as valuable a piece as any of our core guys, let alone our PF by committee.

lamar is completely out of our reach.... if phil wasnt the coach, maybe trading thomas and filler for him would work seeing s how they just got brown and odom is playing sf again.....

I'll pass..... I'm not ready to dump one of our core for lamar.... I rather trade one of our core for someone else.... Besides, as stated by others, with phil there the lakers do not do this trade.

unless they take thomas and corliss but why would they? since that isnt happening.... oh well...

Lamar has a lot of UNTAPPED potential, if you know what I mean. He is an interesting subject however, but with the addition of Bonzi, I would like to see what this team could do.

Lamar Odam is a good player, would be useful addition, but only at the right cost. I wouldn't want to give up any of the core guys for him.
