The Kings have proven time and time again throughout the seasons they are indeed a superior team without Cuz and his attitude on the floor.

Have you watched him with NOLA? He's a horrible disappointment. Sorry, but he peaked his rookie year and is NOT a star. He's a role player.

He's on a great contract for his production and had a very good season last year. NO was projected as a playoff team party because of his strong play with Anthony.

Don't want to derail this discussion, but ultimately the comment about regretting trades just doesn't apply to Tyreke because he hasn't flourished since moving on. He's the same ball-swallowing freight train he always was, and he still can't shoot. If you think this team can't shoot now, holy cow might as well erase the 3pt lines with Rondo and him in the backcourt.

I find it amazing that people miss that. It might be a tad off of last year's pace, but his rim protection defense, DRPM, Defensive on/off, you name it, are all amongst the elite.

the difficulty, as always and forever, is that he has no help. Omri (surprisingly) and WCS (not so much) are the next two defensive impact guys, and then there are no others in the Top 100 in the NBA.

It's okay for him to coach. It's not okay for him to coach badly and then for us to come out and blame the personnel rather than the coach.

I've also done rather little Boogie defending in this thread but apparently anything that isn't rabid "TRADE BOOGIE NOW!" is considered defending Demarcus.

So, just so I have it clear. Everyone projected us to lose this game, most by 20. DeMarcus and Rondo both get 3 fouls in the 1st quarter, Omri goes cray cray in the 2nd and hits from another zip code to keep up, DeMarcus gets ejected so, desspite the fact that he wasn't even playing, this is his fault? His ejection cost us 2 points. The refs weren't allowing him on the court anyway. so it isn't like it cost us his services.

How can anyone say this lost is NOT part of Cuz's fault? That's mind blowing to me!

So is Rudy. His averages this season are damn near close to Melo but for half the price. I don't see how any knocks on Rudy wouldn't be said of Evans. People would still be frustrated every other game with him. NOLA is also worse than we are lol.

Lots of people here seem to forget this. Rondo's been putting up great offensive stats but defensively, he's spent a good portion of the season being a ten car pile-up caused by an over-capacity oil tanker.

But you're failing to see that he was one of the reasons NO made the playoffs. And if you want to talk about backcourts, a bellinelli, Reke and Ben line could do serious damage. Rondo and Reke would/should never be on the court together

I obviously can't speak for everybody but I suspect that it is about quite a bit more than this game.

This game is an interesting microcosm though. The fans want passion, we want to win, we HATE losing and we hate injustice. Boogie is like a fan in a players suit (only with the talent) He hates injustice, he hates losing, but he isn't supposed to show it, but if he didn't the same people would be bagging on his lack of passion.. oh wait, I am pretty sure those same people have actually used his lack of passion as a reason to trade him. I don't understand the serious NEED this franchise seems to have for messing up and the near Stockholm syndrome it has developed in so many of the young fan base.

I think the point others are trying to make is that it is just indicative of the systemic issues he's had his entire career: namely his poor shot selection and decision-making along with his occasional self-destructive attitude. Has he gotten better? In the latter part: yes. Since Malone, the former has suffered. Pick your poison, there's enough to go around.
