DeMar has recently referenced the hole we dug ourselves this season more than once, and he said he hates the mere idea of the "play-in tournament" following those statements with one heck of a clutch performance yet again. You can tell the players are highly aware of how important each and every game is, and the playoff atmosphere in these wins is HUGE for us.

For the Kings it is playoff time if they want to keep out of the play in games. 1 game out of the 5th spot is great. But I have to remember we have a ton of games left and we can’t have a long meltdown again. Keep playing one game at a time and never give up as last night means a lot. you win a few games like that is huge in the end.

More love from the schedule makers. Thats literally probably the hardest travel context possible in the NBA
Dear NBA:

Denver is not close to Sacramento.
The Mile High city is 900 flight miles away.

It’s the equivalent of scheduling the Knicks with the second game of a home-and-away back-to-back in Chicago.

Actually, it’s worse (NY-Chi ~740 flight miles)

And did we mention it’s a >5,000 mile elevation increase? Hence, “Mile High”

Yah, this is a scheduled L. Low expectations. That’s why we need to beat the GSW ahead of time.

So Kings as a team had a 112.5 defensive rating which would be around 13 and not the abomination of the last 3 games but not where we were before Fox came back.

I think we can confidently state it came in the 2nd half when Keon got 13 minutes instead of 8.

The problem was those increased minutes came from Carter who got zero minutes in the second half. Hard for a rookie to develop when they have zero minutes.

OK, for effs sakes, we get it. Like you don't have to keep repeating the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...

This b2b is straight BS. Flying from the west coast , late, lose an hour and you have to play in elevation? I won’t even be mad if I see a kings team that doesn’t show up. I just can’t be mad about it at all. A game where they actually entertain would be a win in my book.

Team win last night. These guys are fun to watch and they have fun playing.

Shoutout to Keegan and Keon for their defense last night. Unreal performance in the second half. Still need more Keon and Keegan together. Cut Kevin out of the rotation at this point.

Shoutout to DDR as well. we don’t win this one without him.

I also don’t think we win this game pre-Doug. I will refer to that time as BDC.
