Boy you'd sure do have a lot of faith in this FO.
We are talking about the same FO who gave away IT right?
Because if you traded DMC for a bucket of popcorn and played the popcorn at C for 40 minutes a game the Kings would be better because they'd be less cancerous and more relaxed. The Kings have proven time and time again throughout the seasons they are indeed a superior team without Cuz and his attitude on the floor.
Have you watched him with NOLA? He's a horrible disappointment. Sorry, but he peaked his rookie year and is NOT a star. He's a role player.
What do Michael Wilbon and I have in common? Okay, what else do we have in common? We're not surprised.Grant is fully on board the blame Demarcus train.
Don't want to derail this discussion, but ultimately the comment about regretting trades just doesn't apply to Tyreke because he hasn't flourished since moving on. He's the same ball-swallowing freight train he always was, and he still can't shoot. If you think this team can't shoot now, holy cow might as well erase the 3pt lines with Rondo and him in the backcourt.Yeah he's averages are pretty solid in NO like I stated in my post. And who's asking him to be a star? And what you think Ben, Marco, DC, gay are doing better? Please explain
Yeah, but which seventy-five percent? Have fun parsing that out...Since this is in teal, this statement is a 75% Epimenides paradox.
I'd probably be on your side if he didn't decide to be Dirk this year and totally abandon defense and rebounding.
This is borne out by our amazing win/loss record without him....
Both deserve blame. It's okay for him to coach. It's not okay for him to coach badly and then for us to come out and blame the personnel rather than the coach.
I've also done rather little Boogie defending in this thread but apparently anything that isn't rabid "TRADE BOOGIE NOW!" is considered defending Demarcus.
So, just so I have it clear. Everyone projected us to lose this game, most by 20. DeMarcus and Rondo both get 3 fouls in the 1st quarter, Omri goes cray cray in the 2nd and hits from another zip code to keep up, DeMarcus gets ejected so, desspite the fact that he wasn't even playing, this is his fault? His ejection cost us 2 points. The refs weren't allowing him on the court anyway. so it isn't like it cost us his services.
So is Rudy. His averages this season are damn near close to Melo but for half the price. I don't see how any knocks on Rudy wouldn't be said of Evans. People would still be frustrated every other game with him. NOLA is also worse than we are lol. He's on a great contract for his production and had a very good season last year. NO was projected as a playoff team party because of his strong play with Anthony and that contract looks better every day.
Yet somehow the midget chucker that was a cancer to this team is the best player on a playoff team.Boy you'd sure do have a lot of faith in this FO.

His defense has been outstanding.
I find it amazing that people miss that. It might be a tad off of last year's pace, but his rim protection defense, DRPM, Defensive on/off, you name it, are all amongst the elite.
the difficulty, as always and forever, is that he has no help. Omri (surprisingly) and WCS (not so much) are the next two defensive impact guys, and then there are no others in the Top 100 in the NBA.
I'm waiting for him to sign Drake to a 10-day.Vivek doesn't know enough to be anything constructive or destructive other than making social faux pas at the most inopportune moment. He listened to the wrong guys, that's all. They're gone, time to move on.
Yes, but at least we'd be getting blown out with class... or something.
He's is exhausted. Nice game omri....Omri got pulled? Give him an oxygen tank to whell around lol
But you're failing to see that he was one of the reasons NO made the playoffs. And if you want to talk about backcourts, a bellinelli, Reke and Ben line could do serious damage. Rondo and Reke would/should never be on the court togetherDon't want to derail this discussion, but ultimately the comment about regretting trades just doesn't apply to Tyreke because he hasn't flourished since moving on. He's the same ball-swallowing freight train he always was, and he still can't shoot. That's because many people here play fantasy leagues or whatever and don't watch the teams play. You are so alone on that. New Orleans fan base wants him gone.
I assure you that it is not coincidence that Cousins leaped to All-Star level once he left.
You mean it's not ok for Karl to coach? But it's ok for Cousins to quit on his team?
Why do people continue to defend Cousins? I don't understand this.. he tossed himself out of the game... I really don't understand...
I'm waiting for him to sign Drake to a 10-day.
He tossed himself from a game he was almost out of anyway.
He tossed himself from his first game of the year.
It just was not a terribly significant event. It's not even the first, nor certainly the ugliest, ejection of the year for us.
I obviously can't speak for everybody but I suspect that it is about quite a bit more than this game.
I'm waiting for the shot of him at the game tonight with a Steph Curry jersey on because nobody told him that his brother, SETH Curry plays for the Kings.
IT is a much better player at half the price, but thats beside the point we let both walk for peanuts.Imagine if we somehow had Tyreke coming off the bench.
Collison, Tyreke, WCS would be very nice to have as a bench core.
I think the point others are trying to make is that it is just indicative of the systemic issues he's had his entire career: namely his poor shot selection and decision-making along with his occasional self-destructive attitude. Has he gotten better? In the latter part: yes. Since Malone, the former has suffered. Pick your poison, there's enough to go around. He tossed himself from a game he was almost out of anyway.

Who? Vivek or Drake?
Sadly I could see either doing this.
