Because if you traded DMC for a bucket of popcorn and played the popcorn at C for 40 minutes a game the Kings would be better because they'd be less cancerous and more relaxed. The Kings have proven time and time again throughout the seasons they are indeed a superior team without Cuz and his attitude on the floor.

I'd argue the Kings lost momentum somewhere around the time when Steph Curry started making literally everything that he threw at the hoop and we there the gameplan out the window to let the game become a shootout between Omri and the best shooter in the league but maybe that's just me.

I'd argue that our supporting cast stepping up (namely Acy and Omri), with Rondo and DMC out of action, being able to not only deal with that outburst, but to have one of their own and end the half with the lead is testament to their momentum and must have been a huge confidence boost going into the half knowing their best guys were ready to return.

As a salient point I might like to note his bit of stupidity there might have cost us 5-8 minutes of him, tops, given he already had 5 fouls. In fact its quite likely him not being careful enough to avoid those fouls was more damaging to the amount of Cousins we had this game than the technicals.

It's not about his playing time tonight.

It's about the tone it sets for the rest of the guys. Rondo and Rudy were visibly upset. Corliss looked like he wanted to knock him out. It just shows that our best player can't handle it. So instead of shutting up and playing for his team. He threw in the towel. 5 fouls or not, he quit on his team. Simple as that.

So, just so I have it clear. Everyone projected us to lose this game, most by 20. DeMarcus and Rondo both get 3 fouls in the 1st quarter, Omri goes cray cray in the 2nd and hits from another zip code to keep up, DeMarcus gets ejected so, desspite the fact that he wasn't even playing, this is his fault? His ejection cost us 2 points. The refs weren't allowing him on the court anyway. so it isn't like it cost us his services.

So what? Yes, you are wimps. Soft if you would prefer. If you toss away such a talent because it rankles your nose every so often then you really don't have any more fortitude then you claim he does.

It was barely a relevant event in a game we were very likely to lose anyway. He was almost out of the game by the time it happened. To hear people crying about it as the end of all reason you would think somebody just stole their Barbie.

Well when a coach does it, it's to inspire his team right? Lets not act like Cuz had more than 3 minutes left in a game like this as it was. Not with the way the Kings play perimeter defense. Cousins was being forced to clean up garbage wing defense all night long. Karl should consider sticking Acy and Anderson next to him. They are the only players besides Casspi of playing any defense on this squad.
