He’s an elite post presence. 20+ points a night easy in the post. It’s one of the reasons why he was drafted so high, you see.
Bagley could be. Playing against 4 defenders? Nope. Spacing has always been an issue since Joerger was let go. Finally they get a guy willing to run pnr but he wants to post up at the same time! D'Antoni was out there to be had too. I can only imagine that style with this crew. Bagley would be putting up 25 a game easy.

I mean, Gentry took the Suns to the WCF running his version of D’Antoni’s five-out offense.

True, but D'Antoni usually takes players and puts them in a position to exceed their statistical values. That's a big part of the equation during a rebuild where your last two coaches have somewhat tarnished your assets. Well, the ones that are still there.

Hall of Famer
In the second half, run Holmes, Bagley and Whiteside at center only. Barnes and Woodard at PF.....too bad Jeffries wasn’t available. At SF, GR3, James and Cojo. Fox, Hield and Guy and Ramsey at guard.

There is nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Offensively, we’ve seen quite a bit of this from Gentry as well. Wood caught fire under him. In Phoenix, he was partly responsible for developing Dragic. Ingram turned into an all-star on his watch. Hell, Jahlil oak for even looked playable under him.
Of course, Gentry is possibly the worst defensive coach I have ever seen but it’s not like Luke is any better in that aspect.

Walton can hardly look past his own nose right now. He's in pure survival mode at this point. His first instinct, which isn't normally a bad thing if you are doing things right, is to stick to what he knows. If he comes back with a new identity after half I would be very surprised. The interesting part will be how much they commit to the play sets he's going to run because I'm sure he'll draw something up. He's not too bad at that out of timeout stuff.

This was already Gentry's team anyway. This awkwardness of him just hovering around needs to end before it just puts him too far behind the 8 ball.

25 a game? Can't tell if serious.

Long time lurker. Lifelong kings fan. Heavily invested in the NBA and scouting...
Anyway, sheesh this was the worst half I’ve watched our boys plays this year so far. When fox comes out of the game, theres nobody else who can initiate offense. We are missing Hali obviously. Buddy is a non factor tonight and he’s really playing like trash this game taking bad shots and missing 3s. We really do need one more piece, at least. I’m talking about a top 5 pick this year, and hitting on it. Hopefully we can show some life here in the 3rd.
