[Game] Kings vs Hornets 3/7/12

You here again? Do you EVER sleep? ;)

The Kings have my sleeping pattern completely messed up, unfortunately!

Shouldn't we be asking you that?

It sounds like someone trying, and failing miserably, to do a Scottish accent. There are some Welsh sounding words in there, which is a completely different accent, as well as some Irish sounding ones. I'm nitpicking of course, but it did give me a laugh. No idea whatsoever as to what accent it's actually meant to be. Most likely just a poor Scottish accent, although the idea that it should accompany a clip like that makes no sense to me.

I'm guessing Scottish.

If I had to guess, I'd agree. Maybe I'm wrong and the guy is legitimately Scottish, but it doesn't sound like it to me. Couldn't they just as easily have gotten a genuine Scot to do it?!

Anyone, moving on from such a trivial and irrelevant subject. We clearly can't guard anyone, far too easy to get into the paint. Tyreke needs to be used more as he is playing great - Smart needs to realise that and keep him in. Jimmer has done well so far. Thornton is struggling a little as always seems to be the case against his former team, perhaps a mental thing?

Hayes has gotten one rebound while getting destroyed by Kaman on defense. Not even in the same league as Daly.

IT, you're supposed to create for others. Cool?

I thought we'd be saying that constantly about Jimmer. Seems like Fredette has lately just taken what the defense has given him and been more effective. Of course, D is lacking but that is too obvious all around on this Kings team.

I don't understand how Tyreke just goes from interested in the game to absolutely lazy and going through the motions

One on one, one on one, one on one, one on one, one on one, one on one, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. = disgusted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MT takes some bad shots, but I forgive him for the most part because he plays so much harder than most chuckers (Kevin Martin, Jamal Crawford, Nick Young, etc) which is the one thing that sets him apart from those other players.

Frustrating Kings moment:

When Thornton caught that pass in the corner, nearly going out of bounds, I knew he was going to shoot it. He was covered, in a bad spot, and could of reset it to Jimmer, but it didn't matter. So predictable and dumb.

Jimmer w/headstart, still can't finish a layup with footsteps behind him. So pathetic. Not quick enough to finish an easy layup. It's comical how bad that was. "There's a guy 5 feet behind me, better try and take contact rather than just make a friggin layup."

One on one, one on one, one on one, one on one, one on one, one on one, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. = disgusted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. You must be. Rare for you to comment in a game thread.

But I agree, a ton of selfishness out there. Reke/Jimmer are the only ones looking to share. Very tough to watch.

There was no reason to take out Reke unless he's playing the entire 4th. Only one scoring or creating open shots.

It's weird hearing the Hornets announcers praise the keep the kings movement when the Hornets are waiting to be sold and moved.
