I don't really want to do this but I think 12 is our floor and 7 is our ceiling. Crazy part is 46 wins might only be good enough for 8/9.

I think we finish between 36 and 44 wins.

Yep, and in the Western Conference you've gotta win somewhere in the vicinity of 50 to avoid the play-in altogether. Which is why I imagine Scott Perry is referring to this season as a "gap year"; there were very few moves within the realm of possibility that would have elevated this team a full 10 wins beyond their total from last season. And that's why I would prefer the Kings just nuke the whole thing and get a jumpstart on a rebuild. Let some of the West's older stars retire over the next few years and see if the competition thins out at all, then prep your climb back up the standings.

The whole funky start to last season aside, it seems health is the difference. Beam Team we were insanely healthy, the last two years we had key injuries down the stretch that really knocked us back. Last year was probably a lost cause either way but Domas missing time at the end was the final kick in the nuts and for some reason caused many to turn on him (there are other reasons from what I've seen on X but since I haven't seen them here, I will let folks venture onto the hellsite if they wish to find for themselves).
