[Game] Kings vs Hornets 3/7/12

What lineup is this??? This is awful! Yes Whiteside can adjust shots, but it looks like it's his first time on the basketball court in his life. He is completely lost on D.

It's hard to not just zone in on Whiteside when he's in the game, and its cracking me up. It almost looks like he literally does not know where he is. He's very .. 'floaty'. He just kind of takes his time getting from spot to spot. I'm enjoying it.

I wish he was more aggressive, but I'm happy for him.

It's like watching Lenny from Of Mice and Men

Reke was 3-3 in the first 6 mins. Not a single shot since. One touch this quarter. Great job keeping him involved Smart/IT.

I seriously have never seen a team miss so many defensive rebounds as the Kings have so far this half.

The few shots the Hornets have missed, they have a better chance of getting the RBD than the Kings do - which I have seldom seen in the NBA. That kind of stops happening sometime in college ball, doesn't it?

It'd be great if our starting backcourt didn't have 16 shots to 2 asts, while the best player on the floor, 4-4 until the halfcourt heave, can barely get a touch.

I won't back away from my stance if Reke has the ball more and is involved we're up 10+ right now.

According to ESPN box scores JT has no fouls.

There is no reason why he shouldn't be playing over 35 minutes tonight as our only good rebounder.

And yet, the Kings are ahead at the half and we haven't got a JT going into the second half in foul trouble. I kinda like that option, you know?

You take out Cousins, and with Hayes's deterioration and huge size disadvantage, and the only two guys on the whoel active roster tonight who are strong rebounders at their positon are THompson and Reke, and Reke is playing out of positon where he is no more than mideoce as a SF rebounder.

Everybody else is small, weka, or both, and most of them are being asked to play at least one positon up from their natural slots.

Just amazing to here our asst coach talking about needing more defense, and Donte was nowhere to be seen, while Hayes was the tallest player on the floor and JT picks his nose on the bench with 0 fouls.
