The way Tyreke was playing, Smart should have been trying to get him playing 40 minutes but I swear no one ever plays more than 35 for Smart. No matter what. Don't you win by scoring more than your opponents? If so, get your guy who is scoring well on the court as much as possible. I hate to complain about Smart so much as I know it gets old but really, he does things that make me shake my head.
No points scored by Tyreke in the 2nd quarter.
That ended a lot better for Sacramento than it looked like it was going to.
Smart is going to play Evans the whole second half, and he'll be dragging *** in Dallas tomorrow night. The way Tyreke was playing, Smart should have been trying to get him playing 40 minutes but I swear no one ever plays more than 35 for Smart. No matter what.
This is, of course, technically true, but this saying is a pet peeve of mine: you also win by holding your opponents to fewer points.Don't you win by scoring more than your opponents?
Why aren't we giving the ball to Reke and Cuz?
You almost wish the guys had a few more minutes to play in the half as they seem to have just hit their stride.....
That ended a lot better for Sacramento than it looked like it was going to.
I think I heard Gary Gerould say that Thompson and Cousins were trying to decide which one of them was going to defend Randolph, and which one was going to defend Gasol. And I thought, isn't that the coach's job?Gasol is too big for JT. I might change that matchup.
Slim I think you should loan me Tyreke for the rest of the season so I can make a play on the fantasy championship... just sayin.
The timing of this post is most unfortunate.Kings are playing very well. Actually look like they have a brain in this game and in some cases outhinking the Grizz. I love the fact that Cousins has run the floor and beat his man a couple of times because of it. Anytime the other team gets a technical because they are frustrated is noteworthy.
