Reke was 5/6 shooting (plus several assists/rebounds) and then 0 shots in the 2nd quarter. That's just wrong.

The way Tyreke was playing, Smart should have been trying to get him playing 40 minutes but I swear no one ever plays more than 35 for Smart. No matter what. Don't you win by scoring more than your opponents? If so, get your guy who is scoring well on the court as much as possible. I hate to complain about Smart so much as I know it gets old but really, he does things that make me shake my head.

I don't think you should hate complaining about it. I don't see how any reasonable basketball mind could argue on Smarts behalf. Tyreke is having an excellent game but doesn't come back into the game until 4 minutes remaining in the half. Most of starters came in way late... except the guy that had 2 fouls, he was the first one back in. We can only comment on the game in front of us, if he keeps doing silly things no reason to hate to keep commenting on them in my opinion.

This is, of course, technically true, but this saying is a pet peeve of mine: you also win by holding your opponents to fewer points.

It feels like he'll pass to Cuz, but with Reke he feels like he's better and won't pass to him unless he has no shot

I think I heard Gary Gerould say that Thompson and Cousins were trying to decide which one of them was going to defend Randolph, and which one was going to defend Gasol. And I thought, isn't that the coach's job?

Kings are playing very well. Actually look like they have a brain in this game and in some cases outhinking the Grizz. I love the fact that Cousins has run the floor and beat his man a couple of times because of it. Anytime the other team gets a technical because they are frustrated is noteworthy.

The timing of this post is most unfortunate.

To be fair, though, most of what's going on right now has more to do with what the Grizzlies are doing right than with what the Kings are doing wrong.
