So what salary do we send to Boston? It becomes very difficult for us to construct a deal where we take back both Rondo and Wallace's deals at once, so I doubt that was in there.

• Prominent agent Bill Duffy has partnered with Crunch Fitness and Brain Bar in an effort to incorporate health and fitness into his clients' marketing opportunities and strategies for managing their post-playing careers. He struck up the relationship with Crunch via his friendship with Sacramento Kings co-owner Mark Mastrov, who sold 24-Hour Fitness for $1.6 billion in 2005 and started a new company that bought the Crunch franchise out of bankruptcy in 2009. With NBA players becoming more focused on health and nutrition, Duffy aligning clients with health-related brands could be a sign of things to come. The NBA star who drops his affiliations with brands like McDonald's and sugary drink manufacturers could find he has enormous opportunities to put his name and personal brand behind products that his fans should actually be consuming.

I brought that up a while back. Duffy is based out of Walnut Creek. Mastrov lives in the East Bay a short drive away. They hang out together. Been seen at GS games together. Mullin also lives down here. There's dialogue. Has to be.Just something I read that I thought was interesting
Bill Duffy is Rondo's agent. Not to say there is anything here, but I always think it's interesting how much relationships and agents seem to help things play out. If it is true Rondo is the one holding it up, it's nice to know his agent may be helping to push him our way
The Raptors are reportedly also interested in making a move for Rondo. IF we can't get the grand prize, I'd gladly settle for Lowry for a lesser price as part of a three team move.
Pretty sure the Kings can split that trade into two trades, thereby removing the need for Landry to be included.this is the sort of monstrosity you have top put together if Wallace is involved. Doubt he was. Danny wants picks, and he can't get them and relief at the same time.

I support the management's case of only trading for Rondo if the guy commits long term to Sacramento. Otherwise, we can give the money to Lowry in the off season. Thornton is an ender next season, which makes him a nice trade asset even if we can't trade him now.
I still see a win-win move by the Kings going for next season if we keep our pick and not get Rondo
I just compare Sanders and Henson: first anchors defense to a decent (for Milwaukee, of course) 1.05 ppp, the other - 1.13.What are you using to determine Henson's defensive impact? The Bucks are terrible. And not only are they terrible, they barely have any talent. I would throw away any team statistics if that is what you are using. That team is a mess...
I rather us try get Tony Allen and Larry Sanders than Rondo, I honestly don't see the fit with Rondo here, I don't think as good as he is that he's the right PG if we are going to build around Cousins/Gay.
Something like that, but elite defence and shot blocking might I don't know. Regardless I'm just not sold on Rondo you don't have to give up so much for a position that is so stacked when there is cheaper better fits.Because nothing says winning more than animal neglect and drunken antics
If the rumor is legit you then have to wonder where the FO stands with IT.. Either they feel he is a legit pg but just think of Rondo a tad higher or they are seriously looking to move him and we will have an eventful deadline

Did have a career high 25 points or something against Denver than got his eye socket busted by Harden's elbow and he put together 5-6 straight games and was finally getting into form.Hasn't been elite in either of those categories this year and it's debateable as to how elite he was in defense last year as well. That contract looked alright coming off of his last season but after his string of bad play, ejections, and general personal issues, it's practically unconscionable to pick up that contract now. You can accept a crazy person role player defense big when it's Keon Clark, a bench guy getting payed a couple of million dollars. You can't accept accept a crazy person in a similar capacity when he's going to be making over ten million a year for the next four years.
I was on the Sanders train to start off the season but as it's progressed, his season has pretty decided to push me off the bandwagon.
I still think Lowry is one heck of a nice fit for this team. Gives us some excellent defence and sizzling offence. Not to mention a settling presence at PG.
No suprise that Stein tweeted out our interest in Jack.
I'd listen. Honestly, I'd likely trade Thornton or Landry straight up for Jack, just give those guys a new place to try and figure things out ...
But these rumors get messy. Remember how there was a gray for Jimmer rumor about a week before the gay trade? The insiders got this right teams, but some of the wrong players. If we are dealing with Cleveland, I'd love to target Varajao, or even Deng as out future 2 if we can convince him to come back after this season. There were rumors that the Cavs might try an trade Deng before the deadline because they don't think they will be able to keep him.
A lot of options with Cleveland. A lot.
A simple Jack for Landry swap would allow us to keep JT as the long term 3rd big, which would be ideal.
Jack for Thornton sets up the starting SG spot for McLemore for the rest of the season and beyond, provided he shows us ANYTHING over the next few months.
Jack has had a tough year, but I think he's salvageable. Overpaid, but so is Landry and MT.
One real question there is Lowry and Gay did NOT mesh well in Toronto. Now, I can easily believe it was the stupid system etc., but it would obviously be no good to trade for him, have he and Gay seize up again, lose him in free agency etc. etc., I've always liked Lowry, advocated getting him on several occasions when Petrie should have damn well done something. But he's a different package level than Rondo.
