Its a damm good question, and I wish I had a crystal ball to look at and give you an answer. I do think they'll come to an agreement. The question is when. The longer it goes on, the less chance of an early agreement. Its difficult for the players union to get any sympathy right now, when the average salary is a little over 5 mil a year, and 14 million people are out of work with many losing their homes. No right or wrong here, just very bad timing..
I don't think its a good move to publicly accuse the commish of lying. It doesn't create the proper atmosphere for new talks, and also discourages all the fans across the country that are hoping cooler heads prevail. The problem with these type of talks, is that no one wants to be the first to make the big move. Each side has a bottom line, but getting there is like pulling teeth.
I've thought from the beginning that Stern and company don't want to ruin a good thing. Especially after having one of their best seasons ever. So my gut tells me something will happen. I'm sure the last thing the Maloof's want, is to lose this season. They've spent a lot of money on advertising, and they need all the good PR they can get to help with the arena. So my long winded answer is, I don't know! But as soon as I have a vision in the night, I'll post it here.
