Not every thread belongs in the Kings Rap forum. If we moderators move one of your posts/threads, it's because they belong in a different area. For example, potential trades go in the Personnel Moves forum, discussion of the NBA in general (including the Kings as part of the discussion) goes in the NBA forum.
Thanks for understanding.
EDIT: If you haven't ventured past Kings Rap, take a walk on the wild side. There's pretty much something for everybody (within our board rules, of course.)
It's been a very long time since it was necessary to make this kind of post. Unfortunately, events tonight have made it apparent that we mods need to remind some members of one inalienable fact. This is KINGSFANS.com. It is and has been for a very long time a message board devoted to the SACRAMENTO KINGS and the players who wear the Kings jersey.
We understand and appreciate that we have fans from all over the globe. We cherish the viewpoints of all our members. What we do not understand, appreciate or cherish is the fan who comes here because of a particular player or players and supports him/them by demeaning other Kings. Basketball is a team sport and we have, through the grace of the Great God Naismith, the pleasure of watching a young team take their first steps towards something that could end up being incredibly special. Want to root for your fave? Wonderful. Want to dump on other players because he/they aren't your favorite? Nope not gonna happen.
I'm not gonna beat around the bush here. If you're here because of Bogdan Bogdanovic, that's great. There's plenty of room for you. What's not great are blind myopic fanboy comments. The Kings are an international team and we can all celebrate how well we're coming together. It starts at the top with Vivek, continues with Vlade and Peja and goes all the way down to Skal, Buddy, Nemanja, Bogdan and Koufos. Their presence enhances our team and, along with Fox, Giles, Bagley, WCS and the rest, we truly have something special - something every Kings fan can enjoy watching.
It's a great time to be a Kings fan, regardless of your country of origin or favorite player. It shouldn't and won't boil down to partisan comments that only tend to drive a wedge between us.
