It's such a joy to watch Rajon Rondo. Never did I ever imagine while watching those recent battles in the finals between Boston and Los Angeles that Rondo would one day suit up in a Kings uniform. He brings something to the table that this city hasn't seen since Mike Bibby. Rajon's true worth and value to a team goes so far beyond his box score. He is a true floor general in every sense of the word who even just through pre-season has shown the miraculous ability to electrify, orchestrate, and get everyone involved. While there were so many naysayers who didn't want him coming to Sacramento, I'm truly proud to have supported the acquisition and Kings fans are blessed to have Rajon Rondo on this team.
Regardless of how much he's scored, Cousins seems to be in pre-season mode, I can't wait to see him elevate his play once the regular season begins. It's scary. Through three games, we've seen Boogie get flustered by opponents way too easily and I hope that pattern doesn't continue. I like the fact that he's trying to add a three-point shot to his game because he can make that shot, though I cringe at the sight of seeing such a talented big man out on the perimeter.
Big kudos to WCS, Koufos, Anderson, and Belinelli. Boy have these guys been a sight for sore eyes. Willie has been everything he was advertised to be, I absolutely love his defensive effort, he can really guard anyone while he's on the floor. The other three have shown a tremendous understanding of the game of basketball as we all expected. They know their roles on this team and that's how you start to build a winning culture. Belinelli has proven why he's considered one of the premier shooters in this league, and though I do believe he is a much better player than McLemore at this point, he's most effective providing the scoring against the opposing second unit. I'm happy with him coming off of the bench or starting, we'll leave that up to Coach,
