The offense is indeed having him out there, but my point still stands. You think if Cousins wanted to be adamant about being played in the post he couldn't? This organization would bend over backwards for any stupid request he made, let alone one that actually would make a lot of sense. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the best players don't spend their summers working on moves that they have no intention of using. Half the problem is that Cousins is only too willing to be treated as a guard, be it handling the ball or taking 3s. This fact has been well documented, even from the Westphal days. The other half is that this Karl offense seems to be encouraging it.
