I think Schofield could have been a fine contributor. At least someone who could grab some quality minutes. If we had just gone safe with someone like him I would have been good.

And he's a big physical wing. The days of trotting out 190 pound SF's are over. You can't do it. The Kings proved it to themselves last year.

Yea it's not like we were stacked with depth last year. We signed Corey Brewer who ended playing a lot of minutes. Troy Williams got time too.

but serious note, if we were going to draft a player who's most likely not playing nor contributing this year, why not go with a Bol Bol then? If we were looking for contributors, why not draft Admiral Schofield, or Eric Paschall who have NBA bodies and can contribute day 1?

We dont know anything about anyone at this point tbh its all speculation. Admittedly I did ZERO "scouting" this year but im just saying things have to play out. I remember when we drafted Kevin Martin me and my dad were like whos this skinny kid ect ect.

I don't think so. Vlade was not happy with WCS, his lack of effort at times and his apparent unwillingness to work as hard those around him. (Some semi-educated guess on my part, some based on comments made by Carmichael Dave and others during the year).
