well if we lights other teams up like he did to us back in Jan or Feb i am cool w/ it
Classic Petrie move in the Tony Massenberg mold. We always seem to pick up the randoms that light us up.

This is great
Another tweener softie that doesn't rebound or blocks shots. I will be pretty pissed off if this means that player like Justin Williams misses out on a roster spot because of it![]()
Blech. Our backup center's career high in rebounding is 6.5. Quick...someone name me a worse rebounding power forward or center.
Maybe it won't be all bad. It could mean there's a trade on the books for KT.
Mo might have something to prove. that's all one can hope for. Welcome Mo.
I'm confused...You complain about Mo's rebounding, then wish for the player who's probably gonna average a team high in rebounds next season to get traded?
...But yeah, Petrie isnt exactly wowing us this offseason. The last big move he made was Peja for Artest...And he didnt even want to make that trade, the Maloofs forced him to...So is Petrie trying to get fired or something?
I think i might be the only one who won't want KG, because for 1... the Wolves are gonna ask for Ron Artest. and 2nd of all we're gonna lose alot of our core players just to add 1 superstar whos slowing down.
Welcome to the team Mo! I don't mind this move so much. If you can pick up talent like him that cheap, you just have to.
I can see him playing C just fine. He is a 6'9" guy that is really built more like a 6'11" guy. I just hope this doesn't spell complete doom for Lou or Justin.
The question is where/how?
On the one hand, you really can't fault Geoff for picking up a Mo Taylor at this point, assuming its for peanuts, because he is a proven scorer in the NBA. But he might also be the single softest excuse for a "big" in the entire league (and yet another 4/3 combo rather than the desperately needed 4/5), valued so highly even the Knicks don't want him. If not the softest, then he and Raef might be chasing each other's skirts to see who wins the honor. And so now, you come onto a team with Brad, and SAR and Kenny and...where/what does he bring that is new? Who's minutes does he take? Perhaps they can all get together and have a soft-off where they engage in a vicious pillow fight until the one who cries for his mommy last gets dropped from the rotation? When you have a Mo Taylor with career averages of about 4.5rebs and 0.5blks in 25mpg ideally he'd be the designated finesse/scoring softee on the frontline, and provide change of pace. But what happens when they are ALL finesse players?
It probably does, which is what I hate the most about this signing. With Taylor on the team we now have 15 players under contract. If we want to keep either one of these guys, we would have to waive someone. Hart would be ideal but he is the only traditional PG we have, Woods is our only 7 footer.Welcome to the team Mo!
